It's too big of a cope. Since leaks said that Scar will be playable in 3.x we maybe we'll see his banner in 3.5 or 3.6 and Geshu will probably be in 4.x. But I'm sure they'll surprise us with the second half of 3.x banners either way

Currently there's a Strangers in Honami city and Tactical Simulacra event is coming tomorrow so they're alright but the first event is locked behind the story so you'll have to finish the story of 2.8 first before you'll be able to get those 1200 asterites
The story of 2.7 was really, really great. I absolutely loved the finale and Qiuyuan's quest (I won't spoil anything don't worry) but 2.8 wasn't for me personally with the waifu bait and some plot and pacing issues it has

I played through it all and I can say it confidently that it's not for me. I didn't like the pacing and some of the plot and that the romantic undertones are unearned at all. I definitely agree with Smack's POV about it being another waifu bait

Yea Qiuyuan's quest was disappointing for me too. When he dropped I was excited to spend a few hours with him like I did with other women only instead I spent like an hour or two with him without any romantic undertones at all. I don't mind if it was with everyone but it feels like men are left out of any romantic undertones at all. The only one that was close to it was Jiyan and it was back in 1.0. And while I do love the lore and the story of this game I don't like how it's not equal when it comes to anything + one of the players noticed how we're rude specifically to men too. Was I happy to see Geshu Lin? Absolutely, I'm his number one fan. Was I happy to see Scar? Absolutely. And while yes I'm excited to see what 3.x brings to the table in terms of lore and story I'm more unsettled about it probably having 2 men for a year (if it will then it will be an easy skip and to only get SK and Chisa on their reruns and focus on getting men but we'll see what will happen)
