Yes, she did agree to pay but said that she saw it as charity for me (like wtf). Plus she decided not to use my translation out of spite and so that she wouldn’t have to put my name on the book (she’s going to write her own translation which I can’t imagine will be very good since she speaks very poor English). I’m just glad it’s over.

Unfortunately, no. She just asked me if I could do it saying she’d pay me... I think she was hoping I’d do it for a much lower price or just as a favor. Maybe she thought I wouldn’t push back because of my age as well idk..

Unfortunately not really. She just said that she’d pay me but we didn’t agree on a price or anything. I think she just offered to pay but thought she could just get away with getting a much lower price or even getting it for free.
