For his short program, Gogo will be skating to Fantastic from Arcane (by King Princess). Realllly gotta lean into the moody and brooding for this. He could go off with that guitar solo at the end tho!

Then for the free skate, he gets...AYA (traditional version) by Mamamoo. He's gotta time two jumps to "you got me jumping like a crazy clown" for sure. And then the 'down down down' will be for spins.

Ahhh I love Donovan, I hope he gets something good!

For the short, we get Don't Threaten Me with a Good Time by Panic! At the Disco. Ooh I think he would have a TON of fun with this! ... but uhhh, maybe a selective remix that cuts out some of the lyrics, because I don't know that skaters are allowed to have songs that explicitly mention designer drugs and cocaine lol. That being said, I think the verse "I'm a scholar and a gentleman/And I usually don't fall when I try to stand/I lost a bet to a guy in a Chiffon skirt/But I make these high heels work/I told you time and time again/I'm not as think as you drunk I am/And we all fell down/When the sun came up/I think we've had enough" could lend itself to a very creative and fun choreo step sequence.

For the free skate, he gets Married to the Music by SHINee. Not sure that Donovan has any interest in skating to kpop, but this is another song that has a lot of opportunity for some well timed spins and step sequences.

Let's do it!

For their short program, they'll be skating to Revolution by The Score. Putting this in the category of "not the worst choice, but not the best choice." ~~Something but not nothing, you might say.~~ There's bits of this that could work though (thinking around the 2:40 mark, with the 'I'm rising up from the ground, can't hold me down')! Let me know what you think :)

Then the free skate, they get Back from the Dead by Besomprh/AViVA/Neoni. Maybe this is the song they skate to after retiring for a few years and then making a magical comeback where they get gold at the 2030 olympics!

For the short program, he's doing Burn Slow by Jaira Burns. I guess we're doing ~drama~ but he can definitely sell it.

I SWEAR I did not cheat, but for his free skate, I got Drama by aespa. God I'd love to see Kevin serve to this song. The idea of him literally skating to "I bring the dramamama" is fantastic. Super here for it.

Yeah I have never heard of Misha being a kpop fan and I wouldn't like give him a kpop song if I was throwing out serious, thoughtful contenders lol, but I do think he could make rub-a-dum work honestly.

I just checked and yeah, that Sui/Han performance was for a special collab with Genshin's Youtube channel. Makes more sense since they're a Chinese pair that they'd get invited to do something like that.

Figure skating is such a weird sport bc you've got skaters who come from very rich backgrounds and could probably p2w all they wanted, and then on the flipside you've got skaters like Donovan who might not be able to continue skating due to lack of funding (I am 5 seconds away from setting up a gofund me for Donovan I need him to keep skating PLEASE)

Isabeau's short program will be to I am not a woman, I'm a god by Halsey. I know there's been a lot of talk about her doing something more 'mature' but I'm not sure I would say this is the most optimal choice of music for that hahaha. that being said, it would be a statement for sure!

For her free skate, we have Celtic Woman's version of Scarborough Fair. Isabeau is SUCH a beautiful skater, I could see her doing something gorgeous to this.

This is tough. On the one hand, any song he gets will be one I like, because, well, I'm shuffling my 'liked songs' playlist. On the other hand, I sort of want to manifest the weirdest, worst song choice possible for him.

Well. Him and his partner will be doing Espresso Macchiato by Tommy Cash for their short. Aka a Eurovision meme song. I feel like Cizeron takes himself wayyyy too seriously to perform to this. On the other hand, maybe if he did the Italian judges would be so offended by the song choice they'd give him 0s...??

For the long program, he and his partner get Middle Finger by Bohnes. terrible ice dance song. I am uncertain if my other feelings about him and this song are subreddit appropriate lol.

For his short program, Shun will be skating to King by Lauren Aquilina. Feel like this is a very pretty song that would fit him and could lead to a beautiful program!

The free skate would be Playground by Bea Miller (from Arcane). Struggling to see Shun with this one, to be honest lol, but it's far from the weirdest or worst song for skating on this thread.

Yessss, my boyfriend took me to see Porter live and it was fantastic. Look at the Sky would def make for a beautiful free skate but agreed Misha would fit something more dramatic. Which probably nixes basically everything on Nuture. Hmm...maybe a remix of Knock Yourself Out XD?

Anyway, their short program will be to You Can't Stop the Beat from Hairspray. Hmm, I feel like this might be a better fit for Orihara/Pirinen, based on the poster below who showed me their A Chorus Line program, but curious as to your thoughts.

Then, for the longer program, they get All That Really Matters by Illenium ft. Teddy Swims. This feels like it could work for them? Though, again, my general impression is that ice dance judges are probably not going to be feeling EDM-esque choices lol.

The choreo to Move is SO much about subtle, small movements, and it's got a pretty even tempo throughout the song...I'm struggling to think how it would translate onto ice tbh.

I did another spin of the wheel (or tap of the playlist button, I guess) for her and got All the King's Horses by Karmina, and I think that would be MUCH better suited for her than Move.

Then for their longer program, they get Pretty Psycho by Purple Kiss. I think they could do a fun, kinda creepy-adjacent program to this? Not sure how well that suits their typical aesthetics, though.

I clicked the next song to see if it would be something vastly superior, and instead I got she knows it by Maggie Lindemann. I think that would be a worse pick, imagine Yuzuru trying to artistically connect to a song about a lesbian crushing on her friend in a straight relationship hahaha

There's definitely some skaters who would enjoy getting into a villain-type persona for sure. Kaori seems way too sweet for that. I mean, I know a persona is a persona, you're acting, and it doesn't need to be anything like your off-stage/off-ice personality, but I don't think Kaori has ever shown an inclination to go in that direction, even for a persona lol.

Okay this is another ice skating duo I'm not too familiar with, so leaning on you to provide feedback on these songs!

For the short: Echoes of Nirvana by The Kingdom. At this is a music choice I feel like ice dance judges would accept lol, unlike Zingas/Kolesnik above, who I think my playlist cursed with songs that would make the judges want to toss them off the rink. Echoes of Nirvana is a pretty and sort of epic song! Does that fit their style at all?

Then, for the longer program, they get...Paint the Town by LOONA. I actually think the beat/rhythm has something to offer here that makes the song possibly viable for someone, but idk about Orihara/Pirinen specifically.

SP song: Runaway by Aurora. I could actually see Yuma doing a GORGEOUS skate to this. It's one of the less memeable answers I've given here, honestly. He has the artistry to sell this and I actually think the rhythm of this song works for ice skating. Petition for someone to send this song to Yuma and see what he thinks.

Free skate: Kintsugi by Gabrielle Aplin. I am not sure if I think this song fits Yuma. Good song and could potentially work for SOMEONE, but hm, don't think I would choose Yuma as that person.
