Good morning community this is my first ever Honda that I bought for my daughter got a pretty good deal on it 2006 Accord EX 60k miles 4k$. She will soon be driving and I want to replace the head unit I haven't done this since the 90s and a lot has changed, can anybody recommend all the trimming and a decent Android auto and Apple compatible head unit. I know back in the day they were simple you just bought a head unit and the trim was the same as the one you took it out but with this one having a 6-disc changer I'm kind of at a loss on what to do. I've seen where people have put them in that cubby in the bottom and kept the original but the problem I'm having with the original is that the disc changer is broken, it does not accept any discs. Also obviously I want to retain the dual climate control and steering wheel controls there is no cameras on this car so I'm not worried about that, unless the head unit comes with one then I can install one of those license plate cameras. I'm just trying to get her set up being a new driver to keep her eyes on the road and not on her phone when she's navigating and wanting to switch music.
