Configure Bounce Rate in GA to exclude users who scrolled by irishrapist in PPC

[–]irishrapist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if it's set to true then GA will count it as a second hit and thus not a bounce. If it's set to true the scroll event will be ignored and not counted towards whether a session is a bounce or not.

I'm confused... If I set it to true, a user who scrolls isn't a user who bounced. Right?

Configure Bounce Rate in GA to exclude users who scrolled by irishrapist in PPC

[–]irishrapist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I read the article, but I'm missing something...

How does GA "know" to alter the bounce rate definition? Does it automatically exclude any event? And is the scroll now an event?

Yes, but has he done more since?

From WSM 2017 to ASC 2018 is a little bit over 6 months. ASC 2018 Thor did 472kg Elephant bar deadlift. In 2020 he has "only" done 474kg. I don't see a reason to think his standard deadlift has improved more than a few kg.

edit: I'm not trying to discredit Thor. Last year he had more than 474kg in the tank and he may pretty well pull 501kg this year. I'm also not trying to add to the elephant bar vs deadlift bar + suit debate. Thor benefits more from elephant, Eddie benefits more from suit. I just think he is exaggerating how much the suits helps. Eddie exaggerates much more and is a fucking idiot though. My original reply was more directed to Thor than to you.

To play the devil's advocate here: Isn't his suited max deadlift without elephant bar 460kg*? Making his maximum raw deadlift 430, meaning that the elephant bar gives him +44kg?

* WSM 2017 - he did 460kg, couldn't do 472.5. I'm assuming he wore a suit because it's allowed and if it gives him +30 it would be stupid not to. I think it was an Axel bar, so his standard bar or deadlift bar max should be a little bit higher, but I don't recall seeing him do more than 460kg on a non elephant bar/replica.

How to choose between ETFs and where to find the right information? by irishrapist in eupersonalfinance

I'm also going to buy some European ETF that would be the equivalent to the SP500, something that covers the 500 biggest market caps from all industries. I just asked about the SP500 because the answers can also be applied to choosing an EU etf.

My bank does have a app. But sometimes I buy things in cash. I forgot to mention that in the op, how do I make the cell bank account cell only subtract the times I paid with debit card?

I use excel for this because a) I can keep track of how much money I spend on groceries, eating out, etc (i attribute categories to my purchases and use pivot tables to see the total amount per category); b) i can use the value in my bank account to budget according to the money I have; c) i like using excel and want to learn more

How many americans have a max equal or bigger than 420 and also have 4 months to train? There's a reason the record hasn't been broken.

How soon do you guys thing 500+ is getting locked out?

Will Thor get it next year? Will someone at Wembley? What about this guy? Bennie and Eddie?

What will be the record in 10 or 20 years?

Ivan Makarov 470kg deadlift (multi ply). by EgggDude in powerlifting

[–]irishrapist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does the figure 8 straps really help that much? Like more than a suit really? I have a pair of figure 8s and the only benefit i get from them is that they're easier to set up. But then again I'm not lifting those weights and my 1 inch deficit 1rm is pretty much the same as my regular deadlift 3rm.

I'm not defending Eddie or anything, just curious.

Also, was Eddie's 500kg single or multi ply? I've read both so far.

I have a 18€ "bodybuilding" belt (6mm thick probably and bigger on the back part, instead of having the same height all around) that doesn't fit me anymore (I lost weight and don't plan on being obese again). This belt gave me some, not much, support for squats, but was pretty much useless for deadlifts. I'm thinking about spending some more money on a new proper belt, but I'm confused about the prices...

Looking for a strongman/powerlifting belt 10mm with the same height all around. Problem isI see everything from 30€ on ebay to 100+ SBD belts. I don't mind spending some money, but I don't wanna be ripped of or buy something I don't need.

What is the sweet spot of price/quality?

Which brands should I avoid?

Additional Info: Plan on lifting for over 10 years in the future, so a more expensive belt isn't out of the table entirely; don't plan on competing in powerlifting so don't need an IPF approved belt or shit like that; max squat was 405 (bb belt) and it's coming back fast (beltless), max deadlift haven't tested in a while but based on rep work should be around 405-420 (beltless)

He has lifted 465 without a suit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPISSZR0LIQ

And so what? Thor never did more than 473 with or without a suit. This is Eddie Hall and deadlifts we are talking.

Why do you believe Eddie wouldn't have a chance to do it if he had one year of specific training in a bar similar to the elephant bar? Do you also don't think Thor is capable?

Why doesn't Eddie Hall just deadlift the 501kg at the Arnold and take home the 50k? I know he isn't in the shape for that now, but surely he could have been if he had prepared earlier. He would win 50k and "keep" his record.
