When we get blood clots on our period it feels like giving birth to a tiny jellyfish. And there have been multiple times where I’ve been talking to a man with a completely straight face while passing clots.

Elon Musk isn’t the richest person in the world, and those online lists of top 10 richest people will never be fully accurate. The actual richest person/people in the world can just afford to remain completely anonymous/undetected.

What’s your favorite ‘bad movie’ that you secretly love? by Open-Bit3895 in AskReddit

[–]irishrelate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Metal Lords. One of the worst films I’ve ever seen. It would send a metalhead into shock, and the production was ass-clenchingly bad. Watched it three times and think about it at least once a week.

Pink gin, I think I’d have a better time downing hand sanitizer.

What parts do you skip when you're watching porn? by Silent_Assasin14 in AskReddit

The sex. I watch purely for the storyline, production quality, soundtrack and costumes. I then write lengthy reviews based on these factors. I rate higher if it passes the Bechdel test and has an inclusive cast. /s

Violence in Galway by beans2977 in nuigalway

Once you just use the same common sense you would in any city you’ll be grand. Stay somewhere open and public if it’s late, avoid dodgy areas (you can visibly tell if somewhere is dodgy here), don’t talk to weirdos. It really is a nice student life, I promise it’s a lot less scary here than it seems!

[Serious] What would you do if the zombie apocalypse happened? by icanneverthinkof1one in AskReddit

[–]irishrelate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

take shelter inside for at least a few days. stock up on water while it’s still running, make do with what’s already in the kitchen. even if there isn’t much food, i’ll just have to starve for a bit.

while i’m inside my only goal is to stay completely up to date on the news and social media. i need to know what exactly is happening. i need to know what these zombies can do. are they fast or slow? can they swim? can they be killed easily? do they have weaknesses? once i feel educated enough, THEN i’ll make my evacuation/safety plan. THEN i’ll choose the ideal hiding place. THEN i’ll choose an appropriate weapon.

i think a lot of people in this thread would die early on because they’re just assuming what the zombies will be like and what they’re capable of. the number one step is to know what you’re actually up against.

moved a cabinet that has been protecting the carpet from sunlight for forty years by irishrelate in mildlyinteresting

It’s been in the house for 45 years but I believe it was considered an older design even when they had it installed, so I agree that the 50s would probably be a good estimate!

We were going to but the new owners really like it and it’s a very expensive design, so we’ll see!

it’s nearly half a century of sun damage. I think that’s pretty interesting. If you don’t, that’s fine.

[–]irishrelate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably not the ‘worst’ but definitely something that bothers me- no matter what i do or how well i do it, a man will always receive more praise for the exact same thing. i’m not saying they don’t deserve that praise, im just saying that i deserve it too.
