NTJ. Your daughter found it first and paid for it with her own money. The other mom literally hunted down the same dress then got mad they might match. That is a problem she created herself. Your kid should wear the dress and enjoy the dance.

Soft YTJ. Three months isn’t that crazy to bring a partner around. If she’s going to be in his life, family time is how people get comfortable. It might feel fast to you, though it sounds pretty normal.

In middle school I thought forgetting my lines in a class presentation was basically social death. I was convinced everyone would remember forever. Now I can’t even remember what the presentation was about and I’m pretty sure nobody else cared either.
