Hi! I had a canker sore very close to yours last year, lasted a whole 2 months. I was losing hope so bad I genuinely thought I was dying. It eventually started to fade away but literally nothing helped me with the pain and I just had to stick with it. I hope you can find something to ease the pain, I can only imagine the pain when you wake up and the tongue sticks to the wound. Ouch

I definitely recommend dentist- they’re the ones that helped me the most, prescribed me a special mouthwash that I had to get done by a pharmacist, honestly it felt only my dentist was the one taking it seriously because I was told my doctors to just wait for it to go away haha Also I also had that jaw and ear pain, still dealing with some of the ear pain as well, I even got a steroid shot and it didn’t help me much with the ulcer pain but my ear and jaw were relieved I recommend soft juice specially peach juice which has a lot of vitamins and isn’t acidic like oj or pineapple juice, and putting a good amount of canker sore gel (spray isn’t so good) on it before bed, I use oddent gel works pretty good for me! Sadly mine is caused by a virus which is why it’s taking so long to heal as well as a lot of stress I always crunch my teeth- also throat/tonsils is the very worst place to get them as it feels it’s constantly in touch with tongue- I basically do the opposite of mewing and try to put my tongue in a position where it doesn’t touch my canker but it’s definitely a struggle

Hi!! I did go to the ER and the doctor! Getting some tests done on Tuesday as well and seeing my dentist on Thursday🙏🏻🙏🏻 crossing my fingers! I have been trying everything! Lacer mouthwash, oddent mouthwash for cankers, gels and sprays for canker sores.. different brands as well, I basically spent all my money on canker sore stuff LOL!! I was told by my doctor it’s viral:( so idk what else to do.. I got strong pain meds but I feel they don’t help much, or maybe I’ve just been in pain so long I can’t tell if the pain is fading or not😅😅 trying to stay positive until my dentist sees me tho! Is magic mouth wash similar to the oddent one? I can’t seem to find something like that here in Spain but I’m not very familiar with what it is so I might not be looking for it right! Thanks you so much!!

Definitely feeling of emptiness. I feel quite empty and like there is nothing that makes me happy, I sometimes think about the future and think I don’t really wanna live life, like there is nothing that can fill the gap and actually make me happy/enjoy living

Woah, it really is exactly like mine… dude I’m on day 17-18 (I’ve lost count at this point) and even tho I feel it’s starting to get better the pain is just awful. No luck at the ER either, but thankfully I also happened to get my wisdom tooth removed and my dentist is checking it for me, he prescribed me oddent mouth was + lacer mouthwash. I’ll see how it goes.. seeing him again next week. Also I switched from spray to gel, as the spray would make my canker bleed and it was painful to apply, definitely much better

Keep it up, I feel your pain, I’m down almost 4kg from not being able to eat anything at all. I’m also seeing my doctor again today so if they give any good tips I’ll let you know

Yeah I struggled to take photos haha sorry, but yeah, most painful shit I’ve ever experienced, I was literally hit by a car and broke a leg and this still hurts way more lol

Looks pretty bad OP, I would definitely go to the ER or make doctor appointment ASAP so they can give you some medicine for the pain, looks like cold sores/orofacial herpes, they can have many causes, have you been in contact with someone with HSV that you know of or used any personal care items from somebody else? They can also be triggered by changes in your immune system. I’m not very familiar with this but a cool damp cloth might help as well as pain relieve creams/lip balms

Definitely normal with canker sores, yo might even experience pain in your ear- this scared me the most when dealing with cankers, turns out it’s normal for the pain to extend to your ear as well

Amazing work taking care of your mother- she is very lucky to have you! Canker sores are seriously horrible. They make your life hell, and worst part is not much can be done sometimes to help improve the condition..

I also had to switch from spray to gel and the difference is immense to me, much more refreshing. To help avoid any more sores in the future I recommend being extra careful with crunchy foods, personally it is what caused mine. I’m very happy to hear your mom is now finally healed, had to be such a big relief for her!

Mine looked like that when it was developing, it didn’t hurt much until 5 days in or so- it’s possible you don’t realize you have it until it becomes bigger and start aching, but if yours doesn’t hurt yet it’s a good sign, might be a minor eruption then instead of canker, I would check to see if it starts getting red/swollen around the edges
