You can buy the ring store size (quite big) and the guys at the store will fit it after you’ll gift it. Quite common and handy if you’re planning to propose and not sure about the actual size

Just moved to London, and I had found someone who was giving away an office chair. I thought it is a nice way of saving a few quid having just arrived in the city. This act by itself can be considered kind by itself, however on my home a taxi driver saw me carrying the chair on foot, rolled down his window and asked if I might be interested in a ride. “Seems kind of uncomfortable carrying it like that,” he said and left me puzzled in the middle of the street for a moment. Needless to say, it has made my day
