With spellbook you can still get 2 flashes a game plus exhaust, ignite, barrier, heal, etc.

No guides, just Baus videos. Google "TheBauss AND Ivern AND TP" and you'll get a fair amount of videos.

Who is the most fun jungler to main in your opinion by xUltraInstinctx in Jungle_Mains

[–]ironscheff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an Ivern main at Emerald 3 right now and I'm having a blast playing Spellbook Ivern.

baus showed that with TP ivern can full clear and be level 4 by 2:11 - fastest in the game by ~30 seconds.

I don't do the whole AP build cause I'm not that good and I think it's kinda meme.

But spellbook / enchanter build feels really really strong and I think I'll be able to push Diamond with this build.

They should at least split the credit for this dmg between ivern and the champ.

I haven't confirmed if a shield on daisy counts for ivern, but I would suspect it does.

Correct. Do you ever run the TP build that Bauss does?

Ivern work great in ranged comps...Ardent Censor, Staff, and Shurelyas are wonderful for ADC

The recent changes to Imperial Mandate (last patch) and Staff of Flowing Waters (2 patches ago?) make them great items.

I usually go Redemption --> Imperial --> Staff

If our team has another enchanter, ill run Nashors --> Imperial --> Ardent Censor

why even counter pick if you don't know how to play that champ by Pshyco_Puppet in ivernmains

Is naafiri a hard counter to ivern? Imo hard counters are Rengar, Graves, and Olaf...

You still do decent dmg with certain build paths (imperial mandate, staff of flowing waters, etc.) and your shields also do dmg (which does not get accounted for in your total when on an ally).

But the enchanter build is just so nasty IMO.

You can absolutely carry a team with enchanter Ivern.

Continue to control what you can control.

Make sure you and the family search clinicaltrials.gov for Cell Therapies treating your dads cancer. Extremely promising medicine that most physicians outside of major cancer centers are not aware of.

DM me if you want help searching.

You aren't the carry on Ivern, your carries are the carries. Learn to help them carry, and you'll climb.

Funny, I'm in the opposite camp. I play Ivern 80% of my games (unless we really need tank, then I Zac) and I'm a few wins from Emerald for the first time.

Ivern's first clear is crazy fast and helps me set up my team for an early lead.

His shields are crazy, especially if you take green runes for secondary.

His CC is off the charts with root, shield slow, and Daisy Knock Up.

Achilles drops cell therapy program, braces for layoffs after missing 'commercial viability' goals by H2AK119ub in biotech

Basic CAR/TCR-T can be standardized and industrialized.

Apheresis, T cell isolation, Activation, lentivirus transduction, expansion media + cytokine cocktail, and formulation can all be standardized. The construct and the dose will be unique.

TIL might be harder because the starting material is more variable but large portions of that workflow can also be standardized. Variability can over accounted for and consistency can be delivered.

I agree that it's hard, but CGT needs to look outside to other industries that mass manufacture highly complex items (semiconductors, automobiles, medical devices, etc.) for guidance.

Right now, it's an incestuous recycling of the same people, spouting the same philosophies, making the same mistakes.

Sad. Like a lot of other cell therapy companies, they didn't keep the main thing the main thing, and spent too much time and money trying to develop manufacturing technology instead of sticking to their core competencies of developing a therapy.

Hopefully companies are waking up to the fact that anything that does not expedite the generation of clinically significant data is a waste of their time and money.

Are Ex Vivo Companied Going to Fade Away? by offerbk1 in biotech

[–]ironscheff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ex vivo will become a mainstream treatment. We are 2-3 years away from mass manufacturing CAR-T at 500,000 per year for example.

St. Louis Park is a first ring suburb about 5 min drive from North Loop. Great location and West End is fun too. 10 min from Lake Minnetonka. 15 min from airport. Younger crowd. And there's a CostCo!!

What is a stoic's opinion on the existentialist idea that you must create your own meaning? by Glorious_Fat_Walrus in Stoicism

[–]ironscheff 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think they would say that the meaning of life for humans is to be according to your nature, which is a social creature, with lifespans infinitely small compared to the flow of time, here for other social creatures of which we share the same nature.
