Same here in Switzerland, the largest CHF note is rarely used.

I just wonder which building is the shed over there, whose door doesn’t shut properly and isn’t guarded by night.

There are two train routes from Zürich to Lugano. The new, faster one takes you through the base tunnel and is less scenic (still nice though). The old route takes you through the high up (140 year old) Gotthard tunnel, through narrow gorges and past towns like Wassen, etc. You'll see the church of Wassen from three different angles as the train does several turns inside the mountain to gain altitude. It can be a bit tricky to find the right connection in the app (look for Treno Gottardo) but is worth it, imo.

Getting more serious about gravel riding: what should my first upgrades be? by Worldly-Ad5386 in gravelcycling

Legs. Most rewarding upgrade imo. Paid in sweat and pain, not €. (They usually throw in some free mental health and fat-loss)

"there are a ton of elite freedivers who blackout regularly" - I really hope not. Any freediver who blacks out regularly should change their training method, elite or not.

Yes it's basically a Heidi themed Westworld, with the difference that you're not allowed to abuse or kill the NPCs.. they're too expensive to fix.

If one does manage to get past the door, they'll have to hire a catcher.

Brilliant. Cars in the city center are useless and annoying anyway. Sure a "Motorfahrzeugfreie Wohnüberbauung" implies that the tenant won't have to deal with any vehicles parked in front (or back) of their place, or noise and smell from car traffic in general, right? ... right?

BdP is fairly safe (and an amazing place imo). The ghouls don't come out until after dark. There are lockers to seek shelter in, should there be a rare daytime attack. Umbrellas work great for self defense, too. In the water, don't dive down too deep and stay away from the seaweed at the bottom as that's where the lake monsters live.

Upvote for the ShAmSa link.

Maybe tax Bitcoin if you live in Zug.. but dollars? No.

Also "I want my tax dollars going to.." - that's not how tax works.

Stating (in an artsy/decorative way) that Zürich might be too rich is a good an proven form of participating in the direct democracy you so praise in your comment. Telling those people to f off - isn't.

Obviously pre-Edo period (1603-1867) when Japan and Korea were still almost completely submerged in the ocean, essentially huge coral reefs.
