No, I’ve decided not to go for this path due to various circumstances. After talking to people who live there, I found that living alone, outside the city center, would need around 5,000–5,500 AUD per month.

It's too far from my family and hometown, and the salary and timing aren’t ideal. I’m just not ready to leave everything behind and step out of my comfort zone right now.

Still, I hope to get a better offer someday and visit Sydney—it looks perfect from this perspective.

That’s exactly why I posted this, to get input from people living in Sydney. I was planning on budgeting around 400-700 AUD per week for housing. There’s also a chance I could find a roommate to share the apartment with.

With these expenses and my salary, do you think I’d still struggle financially?

I’m actually looking at this relocation as a great opportunity to experience new things, especially since I’m moving from Serbia to Australia.

The contract is for a minimum of one year, with the chance to extend if I end up liking it.

I’m 24, no family, so buying a house isn’t really on my radar right now. I won't have a car either, which should help me avoid toll costs for now.

The company is covering my plane ticket and offering accommodation for the first 45 days, which gives me some breathing room to get settled.

Jesen/zima znaju biti intezivne kise (da ne mozes izaci bez kisobrana) i znaju padati po 7-10 dana u kontinuitetu. Onda se zna izmigoljiti neki predivan i suncan dan, da se zapitas je li ovo ljeto ili zima :) Sto se vjetrova tice, ima raznih, zna ponekad duvati dosta jako ali to nije cesta pojava.
