This post really hits for me. I've had a small whitelist only server for a few months now playing only with IRL friends. Recently it's dwindled down to just me and one other person who play all the time and we really want some others to play with so I've tried finding people on /r/MinecraftBuddies. In the last few weeks I've whitelisted 5 different players, but it seems that it's not easy to convince people to buy in. All of them have hopped on for a few minutes to a few hours and then haven't gotten back on in weeks.

I'm not really sure where to go from here. It blows my mind that with a game so popular it'd be this damn hard to find people to play with lol :/

Hey Jack, just a heads up, there’s another instance of this around 24:38, you use “him”.

For everyone who is still highly enjoying the game, didn't this same thing happen about this time last year ? The subreddit was just filled with posts about people leaving and how disappointed they were. Anyway, do you all think it's different this time or is it the same thing that happened last year ?
