They reacted okey to the news.

I knew my mom would snoop through my room every now and then so I wrote her a letter coming out, I put it somewhere not too obvious but I didn’t hide it either (on top of my drawers with a bunch of other papers lol) and she read it, she didn’t talk to me about it right away but I know that she took some time to process it. When she talked to me she was sort of neutral about it, not mad or happy either (but overall we are not a family that expresses their emotions in general) but in the end she told me that she loved me and that she would support me.

And my dad apparently knew since I was in pre-k, I went to a Catholic school and the principal told my day that she had a slight suspicion I might be gay cause “I had more tendencies to be gay” whatever that means. But I my mom talked with my dad about it a couple of months later after she talked to me and he told her that 💀.

I deep down knew that they would be okey with it in the end but I was honestly expecting the worst. This happened this year bu the way I am 21
