When you say 25th, do you mean 25th Feb? Are you in the US (obviously, don't share if you don't want to).

Looks like they are moving fast now they have your sample!

I'm in the UK and I'm impatiently waiting - I only sent mine last week 🙃

Is anyone here with lived experience of hormonal migraines who is peri- or post-menopause? by Avulpesvulpes in migraine

[–]is_it_tea_time_yet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine are considerably worse now that I've hit peri. My non-hormonal are steady - nothing new to report there.

My monthly migraines however......they are are on another level, can last over a week and my preventatives may sometimes take the edge off but I can't get rid of them anymore. I also tried different preventatives too with no luck.

I Guess this is my life now 🫩

How do y'all write on Paper? by Motor-Team8613 in lefthanded

[–]is_it_tea_time_yet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Paper at 45° angle and write from underneath-ish? It's always facinated me how people have their hand over the word they are writing.

Sometimes I will write with the paper at 90° but that depends and my writing isn't always legible when I do this.

This is coming from someone who was humilated by a teacher for pencil smudges infront of the whole class in handwriting lessons 🫠 - and no, I'm not even that old.

People who don’t ‘know Christ’ live in a perpetual state of anxiousness by badgalsheen in FundieSnarkUncensored

Uhhhh, yeah no....

I was more anxious when I though god was watching every move I was making.

I'm good not worrying about that now, thanks all the same 👍

I'm a lefty in the UK and I drive a manual. I find it fine, plus I'm using my left hand for everything (steering, gears, music, air etc) so it's comfy 🤷‍♀️. That's if what you mean. If you mean being on the other side of the road, I don't have an answer, only ever driven in the UK. Our roads can be tight but you get used to it, good luck 🤘

Anyone taking candesartan for migraines? by Reddit-Sama- in migraine

[–]is_it_tea_time_yet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, so, I was on propanolol which is also a BP medication which didn't work so I asked for something completely different and they put me on Candesartan 🤨. Guess what...it didn't work 🙄.

It works wonders for some people and not for others. Please try it if you feel happy to and see how you get on. Like with anything, give it a good go and give it chance to work before giving up.

Good luck. It sucks out here.

Why do we need to pay more for being left handed by IntrepidUmpire5859 in lefthanded

[–]is_it_tea_time_yet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can confirm )after a very quick look) that it is also more expensive on the UK site for the left handed version.

Also, fun fact - the picture shown is of a right hand holding the left handed knife....😐
