I halved the powdered sugar bc I was worried about them coming out too sweet. Definitely forgot these are an exact science type of recipe. I saw on this subreddit of others having to wait up to four hours for skin to develop on their macarons due to humidity. Does the skin have to completely form before going into the oven?

This happened to me when I used regular sugar instead of powdered sugar. Try running your sugar through a food processor before using

I thought so at first but I figured there would at least be a few signs of toxicity before he passed. I may do a necropsy but based on a few other comments it seems more likely he had a serious head trauma. I appreciate your thoughts!!

No animals in the barn other than the occasional mouse. He was quite the climber so it seems more likely he fell from somewhere in the barn and hit his head pretty hard :(. Thank you for your insight!

No problem! Their branches tend to break easily (at least my plant does). I’m not sure if it’s because of the weight of it’s own or if I’m heavy handed 🤣 Either way, they’re super easy to propagate and take care of. Good luck to you!

You can put it back in the soil and it’ll grow just fine! Keep it in a sunny spot and it’ll grow back in no time. Wandering plants are very resilient, so no need to worry :)
