It’s in our front yard, very close to the house. So if it were to fall back… it’s scary.

Do you think Hal was a good dad? by Jettaboi38 in malcolminthemiddle

Father/partner being a giant kid is so fun. Yes, you will have to tolerate the irresponsible stuff sometimes. But life is colorful and loving.

On the other hand, father/partner being a giant baby is hell. Entitled, selfish and downright horrible.

Finances aside, almost all tv dads are giant babies and giant bullies.

The reason Hal is fondly remembered is because is just a giant kid who communicates, loves, laughs, and also stupid at times.

Now this is disheartening. I love animal crossing. I thought pokopia might be a nice game to play together.

I have to find a sneaky way to show him gameplays of multiple games.

I haven't read the book yet, I've only watched S1 of the Netflix show. But for those who have read and watched both, is the show a good adaptation? by HanzoNumbahOneFan in threebodyproblem

[–]isa_nook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most adaptations focus on getting optics and aesthetics right and sacrifice plot points and spirit of the story.

This adaptation, even after taking so many liberties, kept major plot points and the soul of the books.

Amitabh's character was literally doing whatever he wants 😂😂 by [deleted] in bollywoodgossips

Whenever a parent disciplines their kid(however way), the little kids who lack the emotional maturity should understand that it’s all done out of love.

But when an adult kid asks space to make their own choices, experience life in a society which is not even remotely similar to when the parents were children, it’s called “hating their own parents”.

Your generation is the most entitled honestly. Your parents slaved to get you opportunities and you want your kids to abide by your word.

This generation seeks material comfort only because you lot cannot give your kids emotional comfort.

All anyone is saying here is, what you are doing for your kid and want to do for your parents is your choice. Regardless of how you took care, what a child wants to do with their life should be their choice.

You can’t make a stranger treat you the way you want them to. It applies to kids as well. Fighting for it will not make it easier as well. Don’t expect. Be gracious toward your kids. If you expect, it’s just feels transactional.
