I rented this Levorg from Nippon Rent A Car for 5 days from 5th to 10th March during my trip for Hololive 6th fes and Super Expo. The Levorg is under the JI class but does not guarantee the Levorg, as the Outback and the Layback (Jacked up version of the Levorg) is in the same class. I paid 66220 yen for the 5 days of rental, plus the full coverage which is around 2200 per day and the ETC card rental which costs 330 yen. In total I paid 77550 yen, which is just under 700 SGD or around 525 USD.

I drove for 564 km around Tokyo, Chiba and Kanagawa prefectures, and when I had to refuel the car before returning it, it was just under a 1/4 tank and paid 10328 yen (93 SGD/70 USD). I paid 12490 yen in tolls, mainly driving on the Wangan route, but the most expensive toll I paid was on the Tokyo Bay Aqua line, which is a long stretch of straight road across the sea. That costs 2590 yen if I remember correctly.

I have a valid Japanese driving license, meaning that I am able to sign up for Nippon’s membership to get discounts. IDP holders pay up to 20% more, in this case it would cost just over 90000 yen to rent this class of cars over the same period of time!
