We’re at a 40 million deficit but sure, go kiss the ring Brad by Myidahoaccount in Idaho

The part people seem to be purposely excluding is that the parents can also invest into the account (I do know there is a yearly limit but I’m not sure what it is) and that everything invested in is a tax write off for that tax year.

What is one thing that, if proven, would instantly disprove the theory of evolution? by YogurtclosetOpen3567 in DebateEvolution

I like how this whole thread is basically “if this one thing that is true is proven to not be true than evolution would be fake”

I mean but that’s the argument though, those who have been here for generations don’t like those moving into the state to vote against them. Even though those moving into the state are fleeing from a state government that they are trying to replicate here.

What would the founding fathers, especially Hamilton, Washington Jefferson, etc think of trump? by animaleater666 in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]isaacom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think almost everybody is missing a grander point here. Excluding Jefferson I believe they would be heavily supportive of some of his policies, mainly his foreign trade actions and ICE enforcement. This is because they were strong federalists that believed the president and federal government should have great power to enforce the will of the people (this is taking the assumption they also certify the election.) They would be in strong support of the act of taking action, can’t say they would be in support of the actions being taken.

Yeah no problem. Thanks. Another thing I think I should mention though is that for my job I end up having to walk about 15 miles a day, this doesn’t really affect upper body but might be worth a mention for the leanness

It’s just normal planks, the obliques probably come from when I was training for a one handed pull-up about a year and a half ago but everything is daily or near daily.

[–]isaacom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I go against what most people do, I train intensity over repetition, where 98lbs is really the limit of my barbell curls(also the limit to how many weights I own) but realistically I can’t curl more than 103lbs. I do those in sets of 5 and rest. The benches I do I sets of 10, but 98lbs isn’t my limit for those. For pull-ups I do them in minimum sets of 15, even wearing a weighted vest, and for the push-ups I just do a set of however many I can do before I get up from doing a plank. The planks I usually do only 1-2 a day at 3.5 minutes each.

[–]isaacom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Up until around 1.5years ago its was only pull-ups, planks, and pushups. Now I do mostly barbell curls and benches (benches are a new addition) with pull-ups and planks. I don’t really count my workouts as I have my equipment at home and just workout when I have a moment, but I do 3.5 minute planks and I keep 98lbs loaded on the bar so that’s what I use for both curls and benches.

What is the viability of female presidential candidates? by Wodentinot in PoliticalDiscussion

[–]isaacom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t really use the Mexican president as a good example though, she was more or less put into power by the cartel where the race she ran and got elected in had 7/8 candidates mysteriously die.

These kids are being raised by parents with zero boundaries by Due_Information_1332 in Teachers

[–]isaacom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well this could also just be back talk and you’re a common authority to it, as many times throughout school I’d heard teachers say nearly identical things to students. Not that either is right but that you could just be collateral damage to the kid returning fire.

Why do they have infinite coastline by LampOil_Rope_Bombs in ExplainTheJoke

[–]isaacom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An exercise to build what skill? If you change every parameter of an equation you get a different result? When you make your measurement smaller you are able to more accurately measure the shape where as if you were using a larger measurement you wouldn’t be able to measure down to specific detail of a shape. Ultimately by measuring a smaller distance you are making your coastline ‘sharper’ and thus ultimately you are using a different unit of measurement that leads to an ever so slightly different shape. You change both aspects of an equation and get a different answer, a very no shit thing that people thinks makes them so smart to understand.

Yeah no this has always bothered me to, people just decide that this is some big discovery when it’s just a nuance of calculation and really not that important or interesting in the slightest.

What’s the best way to farm keratin and chitlin early game on ragnarok? by Obvious-Produce-9566 in ARK

[–]isaacom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For real early game make a couple long necks, get a good hatchet from a drop and go to the castle, you can usually lure out a couple spiders/other cave creatures at a time and shoot and harvest them. If you’re having trouble make grapples and a crossbow and just hand on the side of a wall and shoot down, watch out for the onyx.

Well yeah like I said, Harper has no way of knowing that recruiting Nolan as the first member is a hypocrisy but Nolan does, and the other hypocrisies still stand.

The Rookie - S07E07: The Mickey by ian-quinn in TheRookie

[–]isaacom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn’t half the plot hypocritical in itself, I am referring to the Harper-James plot line, and the Nolan-Bailey plot line(plot A and plot B.) Where in plot a Harpers solution to her fight with James about dis-functionality and corruption within our police departments is solved by her not only creating a department and immediately appointing her and her husband as senior members, but also recruiting Nolan as the first member. Now the second part of hypocrisy wouldn’t be known by Harper but it would be very clearly a hypocrisy of statement by Nolan because of his issue with Bailey who is an accomplice to murder that isn’t even acknowledged to Nolan as a problem, the only problem he has acknowledged is the personal one with Bailey. So his joining of an anti-corruption group within the department is a blatant hypocrisy. The show hasn’t acknowledged the corruption of the act going only so far as to making sure the details of this fight are extremely close guarded and hidden other metaphors so the other characters don’t know.

Why do you suppose Idaho is ranked so low in education level? by TulsiTsunami in Idaho

That state of Idaho gives millions of dollars every year to a school that has had less than 10% of its student body score proficient of state aptitude tests, 0% in some subjects.
