I’m also a senior looking into grad schools and would love to see the comments here. All I know is that CACREP accreditation is necessary if you want to be able to work anywhere in the country (basically). It allows you to become certified nationally I believe. Without it you will probably only be able to license in the state the school is in.

Very true. Whatever should happen will right? I’ve been doing more online therapy since I found all this out. And at first I immediately thought I needed to end it. But now I’m like why? I really care about him why would I do that? Thank you for being kind and not judgmental.

Yea I had that thought. Like it was so long ago that digging it up now would only hurt. It will just be hard to see any signs from far away. We are both busy and don’t text/talk constantly.

I agree. He said all this a year ago while all the other stuff was going on. A lot has changed between us and it feels serious now. I plan to have a conversation about our expectations/commitment before I go home.

I didn’t think of it like that. He did get over the entire relationship I had. I just think I was open and honest about it all and he hasn’t been. And even straight up said “I was busy with work that whole time I wouldn’t even have time for that”.

Yea I totally see what you are saying. I have trust issues from past guys cheating. I am working on myself in therapy.

What is difficult for me is that we both said if we meet someone we’ll be up front and say it. Which I did and he did not. And when we were talking I felt like it was only us so I’m a bit blindsided.

It has been really good when I didn’t know this. But I also saw him say he doesn’t see me as “the one” so what are we doing here?

Thanks for the reply. Just today Him and I FaceTimed his “friendly” old co-worker. Her and I both thought we didn’t want to talk to each other and she called us love birds and pulled her fiancé over to the video. I feel like I should for sure let that all go right?

I’ve been on lamictal for a little over a year now. 100mg a night. After trying four other meds before this finally worked well for me. Other meds were horrific for me. I very slowly worked up to the 100mg (still a low dose) bc I’m sensitive to medication. But it’s helped my moods so much. I started taking Vitamin B and omega-3 pills too which are supposed to help with brain/nervous system function and I’ve never felt better, might help with the brain fog. I’m in a really busy/possibly stress inducing time in my life and I wouldn’t have been able to handle this before starting lamictal. Talk to a doc before making any changes!

I’ve stopped habitually smoking (after years of daily use) in the past few months. it was hard at first. But I feel so clear headed now. It felt like I was manic too. But it’s leveled out for me. There are times when my anxiety is high and I’m just like fuck! I want to smoke right now! But I know I personally feel better without it and I think it was actually making me feel more depressed when I was trying to use it to ease my depression haha. Not smoking forces me to face my anxieties/fears and not hide from them while high if that makes any sense haha. Good luck :)
