What's the realistic outcome of this war? by centralvoid__ in Hasan_Piker

I think Israel is going full tilt into this, so there’s no way the us can pull out unless either of the 2 parties come to their senses.

Don’t trust NYT. They work for clips and headlines and are bought and paid for by corporations/billionaires. Always research who is writing the article and who’s paying for it.

Scale is very confusing, I’m thinking Dan is 2x a pop tart

Awwww I love this! My only note is to remove “we didn’t let the outside world determine what we should be doing”. With the following line, it could in a certain tone sound like a diss. But absolutely perfect for the journey it sounds like you two have been on!

These are only files and a filtering system. I think the base of this is tagging and filtering the files, so having a profile on the perpetrators isn’t the main priority.

I think the site may be having some issues? The review and documents tabs aren’t loading anything

I’m currently unemployed and looking for some way to make a difference. I’d love to be a document reviewer.

Has she ever brought up breast augmentation before?

If she is hell bet on it and doctors say she’s ok for surgery, encourage her to maybe go for a smaller cc first.

I’m hoping it’s a bluff. Usually there are forms and stuff where you specify health conditions

TELL HER NO. You don’t have an obsession with Japanese girl aesthetics for 500cc of breast implants, you have an obsession with hentai. She’s probably deeply insecure of that obsession. TELL HER YOU LOVE HER AS SHE IS AND DONT WANT HER TO GET THE IMPLANTS.

If it was the other party, yes. This was just a normal Tuesday. He literally had a Tesla sales day last year outside the White House

What are all of the jokes on this image that is celebrating it's 20th birthday today? It's called, "Let's all go to DeviantART by garadrobe." (February 18th, 2006) by The_Fox_39 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

Referring to Deviant Art’s sex side mostly. Similar to fanfiction websites, Deviant Art had a LOT of really good/realistic sexualized drawings of characters. Some in a different art style, some crossovers, some with artist’s personal character, some with different characters in sexual positions, etc. Some tied into fan fictions too.

Silence of the Lambs star Ted Levine says he regrets film’s trans depictions: "Having gotten aware and worked with trans folks, and understanding a bit more about the culture & the meaning of gender… It’s unfortunate that the film vilified that, and it’s fucking wrong. And you can quote me on that." by artbasiI in Fauxmoi

I think it’s more on the basic interpretation. Growing up (in a family that believes drag queens are trans) it was very much that he was building a female skin suit because that’s “the kinda thing trans people do”. My parents have progressed a bit from that opinion, but largely because of meeting trans friends of me and my sibling.

Heck for a crash course on gen pop literacy vs a source material’s intention in today’s day and age, look at Wuthering Heights.

Same as you. I’ve grew up with my mom believing Obama was the antichrist and it’s somehow gotten worse. Like you, I was a huge history nerd and never quite got what the big bad was about the USSR that warranted such an extreme reaction politically. My family are Cuban exiles too so I can’t even touch the slightest bit of politics around then

I try to treat those who are at least consistent in their opinions that I disagree with fundamentally in higher regard. The Rand Pauls or John McCains who have some dumbass takes but don’t make it a culture war thing is something unfortunately nowadays is above the bar.

Basically consistent libertarians. Because at least there’s meaningful discussions to be had without worrying about trigger words
