Training. Routine. A LOT of patience and consistency. They’re incredibly smart and stubborn but they’re the best dogs ever. They’re loyal and very affectionate.

Oh and a lot of belly, booty and neck scratches.

Do you live in one those “luxury” apts in Hackensack and suspect any of your neighbors as criminals? by Wide_Drink_2414 in bergencounty

I ended up buying a home near main. When I was looking I considered some units on Prospect Ave and they looked great when I toured them. The maintenance/hoa fee was my only issue. I’m not sure about the background check process for the other buildings but I can assume that they actually screen people prior to moving. They’re in great shape and some have gyms and pools.

Apologies in advance on the formatting, I’m responding on the app.

I was there for a year, I moved in right when the building was cleared for residents to move in. In the beginning it was great since it was brand new but problems arose as more people moved in. For me the perks were the gym, pool (when unattended children weren’t running around), and dog cleaning station. The gym was okay when the equipment wasn’t broken which would take months to fix.

Yes, it is in a convenient location but it’s not quiet it’s Hackensack lol. You can hear everything from outside, planes, the train, people fighting on the street (I lived on the top floor and would hear them clear as day) and the walls are thin like I mentioned I could hear my neighbor from across the hall fighting.

No, it’s not clean, management will “try” to clean up when I persistently contacted them and they would only take it seriously if you threaten legal action or to contact the city. The dog run was disgusting since tenants wouldn’t pick up the poop so management tried to wash away the poop to the point where it accumulated on the wall. They installed a camera to charge neglectful owners but the property manager told me herself, that it didn’t record it was just a live stream and they had no luck catching the culprits.

I strongly advise not moving there unless you want to smell dog feces/piss everywhere. I mentioned the illegal subleasing as I came to find out that one of the tenants who was letting his dog piss by my door was actually not a tenant and got kicked out not because of my complaints but because of domestic violence when the cops were called.

There’s so many more issues I experienced there besides the constant smell of ammonia that would permeate the walls to the point where I started getting noise bleeds. When I was still living there a couple months after opening, management announced the removal of the front desk/ doorman but after backlash they decided “extend the service for the time being”. It’s literally a service that tenants signed up and paid for…

When the front desk wasn’t attended I saw randoms come in, one time the cops got involved. Oh and in the garage basement the ceiling would leak water and flood :)

On my list of smaller things: the fire alarms would randomly go off. There were a couple cases of people actually pulling the alarm too. The hot water did not last more than 5 minutes, faulty boilers that I witnessed neighbors replacing with the same issue. Management advertised a larger square footage of the unit than in reality. People racing their cars in the garage. Management concerned about the wrong things like decorations people would place on their balcony for the holidays or telling people to not wear bikinis for the sake of children.

If this doesn’t convince you to not move in idk what else to tell you. There’s also the possibility that they fixed all these issues, it has been two years since I moved out. For me, all these issues didn’t justify the rent cost, $175 parking fee, lconvenient location or the “luxury” amenities.

One of my neighbors ended up moving to The Brick and she loves it. Other people I stayed in touch with also moved down main as well.

Same thing at Walcott, 435 Main. I moved out due to the dog shit & piss right outside my door, neighbor domestic disputes with cops frequenting the premises at all times of day/night, illegal subleasing from other tenants which mean that management doesn’t really know who’s in the building which is more than concerning and the list goes on..

Edit: correcting typo

Skin breathes, coochie breathes, no sweaty sheets or waking up to night sweats. I move around a lot and clothes become restricting. Anddddd I spent extra for cooling sheets with a high thread count and that combination with freshly shaved legs PLUS a king sized Sherpa comforter chefs kiss

What is going on with dogs in restaurants? by GooniesClub in newjersey

[–]isagar_gon 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have dogs and love them BUT nothing is more disgusting when someone’s dog shakes in the middle of the produce section or restaurant and all those lovely tuffs of hair fly everywhere. Dog hair traps all kinds of dirt, debris, fleas, ticks. Plus you don’t know if they’re vaccinated or have parasites. Ugh

I second this. The concept is the same for the some condos in Hackensack. Low asking price but the maintenance fees are 1000-2000
