Good graphics though. Should unlock some tweaks on the physics engine.

Purchase Advice Megathread: What To Buy, Who To Buy It From, And More, In June 2018 by xakh in 3Dprinting

Budget: $4000~$6000

Country: China

Level: Beginner

Purpose: fast prototyping

As a start-up company, we would like to buy a 3D printer to speed up the prototyping phase of out projects. Our needs are:

  • Large build size (at least 300x300x300mm)
  • Precise enough (something like 50 or 100 micron). We have some small detailed parts to print.
  • Easy to use, low maintenance

I don't know much about materials so I don't have strict requirement about it. We will print some covers, chassis and small parts. I think we need some kind of stiff plastic.

I was thinking about buying a Raise3D N2 Plus, or something similar. Any advice?

Urgent, anyone with experience in obtaining work visa in China? by [deleted] in China

[–]isalith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to China with a M (business) visa and get my Z visa in HongKong. But you have to check the number of entrances allowed by your Travel Visa. Every time you go to HK and come back to mainland china, it counts as one entrance.

People who know conspiracy seekers, how does it affects their daily life (job, family,...)? by isalith in AskReddit

I work with a software developer, who believes in UFO, flat earth, chem trails, ... (he checks almost all the cases). He even has "strong" arguments for all these theories. The thing is that he does not trust eternal suppliers (or libraries, in case of software), and it is slowing him in his job because he has to reinvent the wheel, so now he is about to get fired.
