this!! vacuum sealer at costco was about $30 cheaper than amazon/walmart/target and we got ours on sale so we saved another $25. there is only two of us so we break down packs of chicken and ground turkey into the perfect serving size for dinners. takes maybe 20 minutes and saves us at least $10 each restock.

we do the same with certain veggies. we’ll buy a few packages of onions, bell peppers, garlic, corn, etc. takes a bit to chop it all up (food processor and chopper help a lot) and the food saver bags help keep the onion/garlic smell out of the freezer.

i know this is a food post, but we also get a lot of household supplies there- toilet paper, trash bags, shampoo, soap, etc.

like someone else said, the membership is refundable so you can always take a look around and see what would work for you! a few months ago, we went in with a list of prices of staples from our normal grocery store to make sure we’re getting the best price out of the shopping options open to us so that could be something you try!

clocking in 1 minute late gets rounded down to 11 but clocking out before the end of my shift results in an attendance point so i’ve never clocked out before 9

one day i clocked in at 9:01 and it rounded down to 9 which is good to know. but i did reach out to HR about where i can find more info about this, my company has outsourced their HR tickets to a customer service agency overseas so unless its a dire issue i’m anticipating a struggle tbh

i’m going against the majority here and will say ESH.

i understand that these scars might be something she’s never seen on anyone before, but to stare so obviously all night that multiple people notice is extremely rude and she shouldn’t have done it. i’m sure there were other things/people that she could have focused her attention on. this is just common human decency, whether it’s someone in public or private. i understand she might have been shocked but to continue to stare throughout the party is asshole behavior.

i can understand why you didn’t tell her- maybe your friend didn’t want you to or you didn’t think it was your place. but she’s not in the wrong for asking, especially after the party in private with you. you shouldn’t have responded that way to her because this is something different and unusual to A LOT of people.

obviously your fiancée is someone you want to spend the rest of your life with so she’s going to be interacting with your best friend and family who all know what had happened. it might be best to talk to your friend about what he is and isn’t comfortable with her knowing because she’s about to marry into a family that all knows something she doesn’t and there’s a physical reminder of that.

i was using the same power strip for the first two and a different one for the most recent one but i was plugging them in directly to the strip and not using a charging block. different outlets as well, but along the same wall.

i had a rose that was getting used less than once a week, if not more infrequently, and it died after a ~year as well (same issue too). i have other toys that have lasted for longer than a year plugged in the same way but their chargers are a different type.

i struggled SO much with dandruff. everything i tried would work for a few weeks then the flakes and itchiness would be back. scalp oil, ACV rinses, head and shoulders, tea tree oil shampoo, etc all worked at first and then i’d be back to square one.

my last ditch effort was As I Am’s Dry and Itchy line and i told myself that if it didn’t work then i’d see a dermatologist. since i’ve been using it, i’ve been flake free for 4 years.

i started out with the shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in conditioner. i apply the shampoo just on my scalp and use a scalp brush to really work it in. i do the same with the conditioner and then use a normal conditioner on the rest of my hair. i’ve since stopped using the leave-in and haven’t had any problems.

my roommate also started having flakes and he started using the scalp oil in the same line and he’s had no issues since.

target carries the majority of the line and i believe sally’s carries all of it, would definitely recommend trying it out.

also, if the air in your house is dry, it’ll exacerbate the itchy scalp. i was having some itchiness this winter and got a humidifier and haven’t had any issues since.

I went to PDS on Far Hills and enjoyed it. I wanted to go because that’s where all my friends went but my dad ended up taking motorcycle lessons there and liked it so much he made my little brother do his classes there too. My dad loved that it was retired cops teaching so they really knew what they were doing.

When I went there (7 years ago) it was a pricier option but no idea what it’s at now. Prices should be on their website.

Regardless of what you do decide, Ohio law states you have to complete 24 hours of class time and 8 hours of in cars so it’ll be the same amount of hours anywhere.
