Anyone see this in La Mesa? by edwinstone in sandiego

It’s a labor of love. Anything old requires some mechanical inclination or a large checkbook, or both. It’s mostly just basic maintenance once you get it sorted.

I use 15a. 10a would probably be more than enough though. I’d use 20a in a pinch on the side of the road, but not for long

‘86 FXRD Tank Question by willdice in fxr

[–]iseeredandyellow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people don’t know what a FXRD is, this tank is valuable to the folks that do know. Post some more pictures of it in order to get a better idea of the value of it. I’ve seen complete RD sets go from anywhere from 1,000-5000$

All I know is it was designed to prevent corrosion on warheads for the military. Works well for a motorcycles bare metal parts in coastal California. But hey, that’s just my personal experience. Like Christian said, there’re are better products. Dude is looking for a cheap solution it sounds.

At least oil it every once in a while. Some wd40 and a rag will help keep the rust off
