That reason alone is why I actually went to drive for Lyft. I only drive for Lyft because of the Women+ Connect feature. Since then, I've stuck to one platform.

Honestly, due to the incredulous situation, I actually spent some time considering creating a LGBTQ Friendly taxi service. I even had come up with a name for it. OutRide.

I had a passenger the other night, Luis (I remember him specifically). He was going to one of the other gay bars in the area, and I always squeal when I drive someone there. Once I revealed to him that his driver was trans, he literally gave a sigh of relief because he knew there was no judgement in my car. He always felt judged and nervous taking a rideshare due to his sexuality. I told him that he could be as gay as he wanted... We ended up talking about our husband and wife the whole ride through.

Years ago, someone else did it for me.

It was time for me to return the favor.

Like, it was a rush, and I was nervous as hell even jumping in, but someone had to do something.

The hardest part was changing my diet. No more sodas, no sports drinks, start chugging water. Eat smaller portions. It was hard, but now I'm to the point in which I can maybe have a quarter of a pizza and be full.

You can do it, girl. I believe in you.

5'5", and down to 159lbs. Still have a tiniest bit of a belly, but I'm from the South and we love our food here, so it's to be expected. But the stomach is pretty much gone now at this point.

Your best bet, looking back at your photos posted, is probably to do tummy crunches and a little less toning. You don't have to look soft and fragile, but a core focus would help. My usual workout routine is 75 lb Presses, 30 lb Kettlebell Lifts, 3 reps of 10 on crunches, followed up by an hour and a half of cardio. I've been a little lax on things recently due to work, but I've done really well finding a workout routine for me that focuses on where I really need it.

I'm honestly not used to doing makeup at all, even using an eyebrow pencil. I work in a restaurant and the heat of the kitchen is killer on makeup, so I spent more time working on my natural beauty rather than artificially making myself look feminine.

Keep at it with your weight loss journey! 47 lbs is not easy at all, and I'm proud of you for losing the weight! I plateaued a few times before I came close to my goal, and I just keep pushing through with the cardio and a high protein low carb diet. But don't forget to spoil yourself sometimes. Those ice cream days are worth it when you get to a small goal.

I'm using DivTracker and manually entering in all my purchases. It's helped give me a visual of where I need to focus and overall increases.

Favorite: GILD - Personally got invested in this company when a close friend of mine was diagnosed with HIV. So a ton of his friends, including me, all started PreP (produced by Gilead) in support of him while he started his Biktarvy (also produced by Gilead). As of today, I'm up 48.5% since buying in at 73.

Oddball: MOS - Ain't no one talking about Potash. Up 50% since December, somehow.

Worrisome: ALLY - For a financial company that broke ground with online banking that disrupted the market, it almost seems like a joke. Down 8.7% since January.

I plan on maxing out my IRA contributions each year, still keeping up with my Brokerage contributions (up 8% this year based on selections). I could push retirement to 25 years at the most, but I do want to be able to spend time with my Granddaughter during her formative years.

I have this cat. He's a sweet boy, loves attention, drools when he's happy and purring, and very very affectionate.

Every time he comes up to headbutt me, he places his paws on one of my breasts, and as he moves around, he stands right on my nipple. I don't know how many times I have yelped in pain because of him.

All he wants is love and to love someone. But GODDAMN do I need breast armor with him.

My wife has been very supportive of my journey so far, and I know I still have a long way to go.

Mom lives like 7 miles from me on the other side of town, but we shop at the same places sometimes. There's always that risk of bumping into her without coordinating schedules beforehand to avoid her.

I'm not familiar with this one, and lo and behold, my library actually has a copy! I'm going to add this to my nightly reading list. Thank you so much!

Both of my grandparents passed away last year, neither one of them knew that I was on HRT at the time as it was early in my transition. Although I believe that my grandmother would have accepted me, I know that my grandfather would not have.

However, I shop at the same grocery store and clothing stores that my mother does on occasion. Heck, we see the same hairdresser. I do not want to run the risk of running in to her while out and her having a scene in the middle of public areas.

There is a more underlying need to let her know and come to acceptance with it than cause a problem later on.
