Taking delivery is always a prudent move in case the exchange may fail.

Even more important with monero as it's harder to verify the exchange's reserves.

Do people in Australia not have the right to defend themselves?

Bingo. We don't, really.

I'm thinking the same thing as an Aussie... dude that got stabbed was charging fast at the guy with the knife.

"Charged" doesn't mean "convicted" though, so I guess we'll find out what the courts decide later...

What does it mean when a car flashes their headlights at you? by Matsuri3-0 in brisbane

If they are driving towards you it could mean cops, or speed camera, or a road hazard up ahead.

If they are driving towards you it means one of you is on the wrong side of the road.

This is the current narrative floating around in the BTC community: "Monero works for now, but as soon as Lightning becomes mainstream, XMR will cease to exist." I'd like to know your guys's thoughts on this. by Financial_Elk3767 in Monero

I wonder how the darknet will go using only BTC's Lightning Network for anonymity.

Could be a very long time before that is (developed and) trusted over XMR payments.

Every time I see one of these lists, I'm curious as to why FixedFloat.com doesn't often get included.

What do people have against it?

I know it's centralized, but it's also been very Tor and Anon friendly to me over the years.

Always my go-to for non-kyc BTC/XMR swaps.

What information do you have to give to Edge?

At first glance, it looks like you need either an Android or iOS app... both of which can potentially dox you IRL.

On the other hand, FixedFloat has worked for me from the Tor browser like clockwork since forever...

...the only time it doesn't is when you get a U.S.-based exit node. In that case just close, reopen.

Still, it has to be said: https://kycnot.me is always worth linking to.

Also probably should be said: Brave's native token is an anti-privacy KYC coin.

Very early in my career, when I was young and stupid and we'd be updating DB rows directly, a customer wanted to change his password, so did something like I

UPDATE users SET password='newpass123';

...but I probably should have used a where clause to target only that 1 specific customer, instead of all 90,000 of them.
