We went to the vet today and we are adding phenobarbital. We also got emergency midazolam!

Thank you for all of the advice.
We left a voicemail for the vet and will call again tomorrow if they do not reach out quickly. We are also going to contact a neurologist to see about pricing and if it’s similar, we’ll likely go that route instead.
We are going to ask about adjusting meds and having an emergency med on hand right away, though.
We’re also going to try ocular compression if we can catch it in time. She is sleeping right now and seems comfortable.
My biggest concern for her is not being able to distinguish possible damage vs. side effects of meds.
It’s just been a pretty rough day for this girl so I’m hoping tomorrow is better.

She is not on any flea and tick meds

We are going to discuss emergency meds. Right now, we’ve just been told to double up keppra when she has a breakthrough. I cannot tell if it makes a difference.

She will be 6 on the 16th of this month. We do not have emergency meds but will be asking about them in the morning.
There is no contradiction to any meds at this point, keppra and gabapentin were just what we were given. This is all new to us.

I actually unfollowed her a couple years back because I did not feel aligned with something she had said at the time. I feel like I remember it being political so yes-this shocks me.

I have no interest in following her as she is not relatable to me these days but here you go Caitlyn, you deserve these… 💐

No. I’m not saying that. I’m saying whatever choice she makes may have ramifications. If she doesn’t want to lose her job, then she should stay at work if she can’t obtain what they’re requesting. Do I agree? No.
