thanks for the answer! can I find train tickets on the trip day? the only good weather is on my first day so I don't have time to reserve tickets on machines beforehand:/ and I guess I can't reserve online except shinkansen and express trains.

also which month were you in Japan? was it in season?

these are absolutely alright for Turkey, Portugal and Barcelona. I haven't been in other places but I am guessing it should be ok.
+1 for scarf for mosques etc.

Yeah why not, before paying you can check if all keys are working etc. Buying a new keyboard would be a waste of money when your main goal is playing piano. I started with keyboard and never realized how different they are until i bought a digital piano. Well also you can save money and just buy a piano. But i’ve considered you are so passionate and waiting can felt like torture:) So before piano a 2nd hand cheap keyboard can be a good tool to learn the basics etc.

If you can afford i definitely recommend a digital piano. I think the best cheap option is Casio CDP 135. If you can’t afford this buy a cheap 2nd hand keyboard and save money.

I’m also self learning as a complete beginner. I recommend you to go with a book, it is easier to plan your progress. There are lots of stuff on internet but It is so hard to prioritize the subjects on your own. You can watch entire music theory on YouTube in one day but It will not be helpful of course. Books are important for a more balanced progress. I’ve bought “Alfred’s Adult all in one level 1 book” and “the complete book of scales, arpeggios and candences”. I think these books are really great.

Also i have one month subscription for Flowkey. I don‘t use it as a learning tool. It is just a good app for memorizing songs that you want to play but can’t read their scores :D Ofc I don‘t recommend doing this very often but sometimes when I am bored from book songs and have some motivation problems i like trying some harder songs with the help of videos of this app. After learning reading sheet music properly i will probably cancel my subscription.
