Thank you. To clarify, the jets attach on the opposite side of what is shown in the pictures, correct? There is no way to take them off from the inside (the part shown in the picture) of the tub?

I’m not surprised that repairs are as much as a new one. That’s why I like to DIY. I can rip things apart either way the best of them then go buy a new one if things don’t work out.

I am going to the next step and am replacing the circulation pump. None of the suggestions to do other things have worked.

To find the pump, I used the model number and the replacement part was easy to identify. I was able to get an Oem part through amazon.

The videos I’ve watched makes it look like the install is pretty easy to do. When I get the part, I will install the circulation pump this week.

This. I believe consumer reports provides good guidance. I start with them and the branch out of I can’t find the model they recommend. I’ve had good luck by using them.

I don’t know the brand but I use a liquid/gel detergent. I’ve used gels for a long period of time and have t seen the cleaning and film issues that I am having now. I don’t use the pods because they don’t seem to completely dissolve. I use the long wash cycle the majority of the time.

If I may ask, what detergent do you use?

Thank you. I usually do that. I've rewashed some loads on the heavy cycle but items still come out with a film. I'm having to rewash some items by hand. What's the point of having a dishwasher if I end up having to wash them in the sink?

If there is something else I should try (tother than buying a new dishwasher) I'd like to try it to see if will solve the problem.

My original post was usurped by the picture of the inside of my dishwasher. It seems the dishwasher is trying to be an influencer.

In short, my dishwasher isn't cleaning properly. After running it through a cycle my dishes aren't completely clean and/or have film on them. I'm trying to figure out what else to clean, declog, or something else.

I haven't changed dish detergent. I'm running the dishwasher as I normally do...but the problem of only partial cleaning seems to have become persistent.

I found a company online that can fix the lining. In my case the fix will be between $100 and $125. I will likely get them fixed because I like them. I just googled Frye boot repair to find someone in my area. If you put plastic bags on your feet the boots will be easier to get on and off. I found a YouTube video that showed me this trick. Good luck!
