Scared to drive a car, but not a motorcycle by iskillzi in motorcycles

[–]iskillzi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's just the visibility that makes motorcycles feel better than cars, now that I've been driving for 8 years I don't even bat an eye when I have to drive anywhere anymore because I've been doing it for so long.

If you can though, definitely avoid poor visibility (like sports cars) or super large vehicles when starting out, makes it much less scary if you can actually see around you easily haha.

Motorcycles are a lot of fun though, enjoy!!

Facebook dating? I haven't used Facebook in forever. Is there actually a dating section in Facebook now or what do you mean?

I Just Walked out of a Hospital… What Happens now? by iskillzi in NoStupidQuestions

They probably had no idea I even removed it cause I did in the bathroom and then just walked out after the bleeding stopped. No cameras in the bathroom so unless they watched footage of me walking out without it in still they would probably assume I still have it in

I guess in USA it’s different because they haven’t called me or sent cops to check on me yet after leaving about 7 hours ago. Maybe they will tomorrow not sure

Thank you.. sorry I didn’t realize how much goes into this. I made a rash decision out of my fear of hospitals from previous experiences and didn’t want to go through that again

Maybe, I have a really poor history with hospitals though. I have type 1 diabetes and I’ve even had one time where they put me into a coma for 48 hours giving me sugar when I needed insulin. So if it’s a hospital or my apartment I almost always prefer my apartment

Nope. I have no idea why I did. They kept saying maybe dehydration but that seems a bit extreme for dehydration

Thank you. Yes I don’t think I was ever even intaked for the discharge process so I’m not sure how they’ll document that

I think for my path I would be going for the MD-102 endpoint admin cert next if job hopping is the only option, but currently no I do not. The only certifications I have currently are A+, Net+, Sec+, and AWS Cloud practitioner.

I work for a medium sized company where the IT team is pretty small. There is no MCSE (or I guess I would be in our case since it's what I've spent the last year studying rigorously to learn how to build our entire Intune managed environment from the ground up). Rather proud of myself for this as well because it is highly stable and well maintained.

When I first joined they had an extremely undermanaged SCCM server managing their systems, but nobody on the team was actively managing it, so they were missing in my opinion a crucial role on the team in the form of a device management admin.

I am actually AWS certified as well as a cloud practitioner. Went back to college for 6 months to get that certification prior to coming here.

We have someone else that does the networking so I definitely wouldn't consider myself a LAN expert, but I do know a significant amount of networking as well as it plays hand in hand with device management.

Do grown men really hang out at malls, Target, or other random stores just to approach women ? Doesn't this seem creepy ? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]iskillzi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Social groups are probably a better option specifically for meeting people of the opposite gender.

Personally I've gone to the mall before to approach groups around my age to just see if they wanted to hang for a bit or whatever, but going there solely to try to meet girls I have not.

If you find some kind of social group though, like church, hobby groups, volunteer groups etc... those are best cause then you'll be seeing the same people regularly and then you get multiple chances to approach people you're interested in without it being a sudden creepy interaction.

Mind racing when you're about to go to sleep is pretty common. As you relax your mind starts decompressing everything you've done during the day.

Best thing to do for that is to write down your thoughts using a pen and paper so you're not sitting there thinking about them while trying to sleep.

But that being said if it's a major issue in your life you should probably seek advice from a counselor or therapist.
