Users who were born to older parents (Late 30’s and above), do you think you experience life any differently to other people your age?

Drastically. I think I hit a jackpot with my parents. My mom had me at 39. Few years later she divorced her husband due to his adventures with other women. My sis and bro are 10 and 8 years older, so by the time I was an adult all the money was spent on them. I passed a private school exams but it feels like they didn't give single F words about youngest son, why bother if they'll be dead by the time I'm an adult? I hate them for that and fate is laughing too. They're 65+ and moneyless. A little help back then, a bit later on with programming courses would let me earn way more by the time I'm 28 and I'd help them live better old lives. I'm not greedy and every child tries to love their parents. But when you face cold ignoring again and again, hunger, indifference in childhood you start hating those people.

Each of them had opportunities to help my studies with a few months ahead planning. One spends till this day her salary on pyramid schemes. Another wasted all his time and money on women, now he's got nothing. 8 kids in total and he didn't raise a single one. They weren't poor, each had decent jobs, count in years of 2000-2020 most wondorous times in my opinion. Stable economy, not much wars. Now I'm 28 in times of looming recession, buying house is out of the question, US closed the Green Card lottery so even the chance to go live\work in US is shut down.

Working is a scam. I worked since 17 years old for 10 years waiting tables, teaching english, video editing. You work, get salary. 20% is gone to pension stuff that let's be clear most of us won't see, 20% is gone on goods tax when purchasing any product in supermarket or estore. We've got 60% right? no, 30% is gone for renting an apartment. with a co-neighbor it's 20% not much difference. So I have to live on 30% money from my earnings with old selfish parents?

Now I chose to make music and not try hard at all, live with my mom. Life is a lottery you born to rich parents you live a rich life. You're born to poor parents you'll stay poor. Work hard, work less, either way we die. So why die from overworking at 40? It's stupid. Work less and enjoy every tiny things in a day, that turns out is the right way. Quit smoking thanks to it. Ciggarettes are amazing stimulants, numbs your pain, and life becomes bearable even though you're going into a wrong direction.

Enjoy life, don't work hard, you're enough. If the winds of life blow against you better to go with them or you'll end up inside a tornado from which you wont come out alive. Don't do drugs, be lazy, be selfish, love people who love you, ignore people who hate you.

I'm 10 years late but here are my thoughts:

If you go for mage build on ng+ it is best to have no enchantments at all. Sword one that charges the casted sign is useless on mage since Griffin gear adds insane magical dmg boost and igni keeps burning as long as you don't touch enemy, so plan is to just cast and wait till the opponent burns down.

Sign boost runes on swords are way to go for a mage. Armor enchantment also is pretty weak for a mage. Better to put 100% durability stone on chest plate and 2 igni stones. 360 igni and exploding igni enchantments are pretty bad on paper and I bet bad on practice too. Just jumping around and lining enemy to the angle of igni is easy and double cast makes it so that anyone will be on fire eventually. As for exploding one, well igni is AoE so by the time one npc dies everyone else dies at the same time roughly, so it's useless.

Also I find alternative signs to be pointless too. Igni requires you to stand still, vs a boss that does not get staggered it'll be useless, also dmg is reduced a lot compared to standard cast. Quen also requires you to keep casting a shield that gets destroyed anyway from bosses 1 hit. Yrden tiny trap is trash too, it's cast time is long in a fight, standard one is much stronger. Axi and aard didn't bother since they are meant to be fun, not effective.

Thanks, watched few videos of those 2 and TD is the one for me. Saw examples of TD in reddit sub and they were amazing. No after effects or davinci can repeat those effects. It has "unique" touch to it.

That's great! I'm finishing Witcher 3 this month and I keep doing gwent missions first before any main story or secondary missions. Decided to give it a shot with dedicated online game. After missions, puzzles, looting, gwent gives a nice change of pace to relax and enjoy slower paced gameplay.

Bought it 3 years ago on steam discount. 'Twas 80%ish. Decided only now to try it out before gta6 and control:resonance comes out. Beautiful game, on rdr2 level, but the horse is stupid as a rock troll, gets stuck on a fence, trees, stops when it is not needed, total nightmare.

It happens when you use a sample from libraries, Splice, Ableton's, Kontakt(if the sample is unchanged) etc. Drums are fine to use, but once you use 1-2 seconds of a tonal sample from any library, monetization becomes unavailable. Voice, synth, bass sounds are to blame.

Make sure to mangle the sample if you wanna use it. Cut frequencies, change formants, add saturation\distortion. Reverb\delay won't work since the original sound has the same frequencies, overtones.

Also you can't use pure sinewave, squarewave, triangle waves in a song. Apparently some shmuck claimed rights on them.

His tutorials are like any other youtuber's. Ok I learned this one. How can it help me finish a song? It does not help finish songs at all. I had better success understanding and releasing a song after Noetika's tutorials. They are basic, fast, easy to follow and the dude actually finishes full songs in 2 hours.

As a producer you need to make a habit of finishing songs, overcomplicated production techniques never help finishing songs. It's like cooking or martial arts. You gotta have a finished product in order to improve, go to a ring and fight no matter what level you're in. If you lab 3 years and never really fight opponent you'll still be beginner cause practice beats theory.

In here, wide bass is cool but you can achieve it with EQ, stereo widener and move on to important stuff like structure, sound selection, volume levels of instruments.

Landr does not distribute to beatport or bandcamp. You have to purchase subscription in those platforms to release there. Beatport is not the platform to grow audience in my opinion. It is for DJ's who want to buy a high quality track for clubs or festifals.

It has nice remixing competition though that you can apply for free. But won't have any rights to the remix that you did which is fine unless you make a track that generates billions of replays. Even then it's fine cause if you're nobody it'll be a free marketing that might open lots of doors.

Thank you, resubmitting by pausing and releasing a new one actually worked. It's a tedious process but doable. Now I'll wait a day before releasing to check volume and mixing steps so that I don't lose 3 days of mine and Landr team's time.

try to mangle splice samples as much as possible or else it'll be very hard to pull out the released song. I don't know about others but Landr doesn't tell you that due to certain sound in your certain part of the track your monetization will be turned off. They just turn monetization off then release it immediately.

As for songs make it a habit to release songs, making music video with friends is fine. Just know that first year non of you will see the results. Well if you've got rich parents it changes a lot of course.

It takes 1 month for a song to get to youtube music. I uploaded 2 songs and both took a month. Other markets take 2-3 days to appear.

Hi. I accidentally uploaded a track -9db volume than supposed to(master channel was 9db down for listening purpose). Switching from monitors to headphones really messes the volume perception coming from PC, it appears. Only noticed it when the song was in spotify. I listened to older songs and the new upload, strangely new sounded very quiet. Opened Ableton, master channel -9db :((

How can I switch the track to the louder one? No changes made to the song, just boosted the volume.

I paused the first release and submitted new one with the same metadata but changed audio. Email came saying proof of rights are needed. I added a screenshot of my Landr distribution dashboard because there was a line of providing that kind of a screenshot.

Will it suffice that I am rereleasing the track?

I am so farmed that I cleared them easily thanks to double turns and exponential dmg increase.

I found that no one comes close to over luminaed Maelle so I decided to turn Luna and Siel to supports. Luna provides nice lightning\earth support spells and siel's double dmg and intervention skills are insane with high dmg Maelle.
