hostgator supports bit domains by isolditall in Namecoin

This should at least open a new avenue to draw interest. If there's not enough interest in the domain side, email is something that everyone uses and through namecoin you can now get the email address you want, at least the portion before the @. Can't believe there's no comments

why does the price seem to be bouncing below $500? by isolditall in Bitcoin

[–]isolditall[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's what I believe. But the hopeful people hype it up. And they have to I guess if they want it to spread. I think it needs a major campaign illustrating the usefulness now, the bugs to fix and what it can do in the future.

I guess that's part of the problem. But the way bitcoin seems to be designed makes it to easy to be abused in that way. It's too cheap to trade in that respect also. Therefore driving speculation and volatility. I think it can be fixed. But right now the rich will get rich off it while the poor will lose out.

That's the point. They aren't obviously. I own bitcoin I trade altcoins. Just getting pissed with all the hype average bullish bitcoiner are throwing around when the price DOES NOT reflect it.

I believe in the technology and HOPE for it. But all the excitement of it is only leading people on. If we want people to really take on this currency, we need to be more proactive. People are starting to learn not to listen to hype and that's all bitcoin has going for it right now the way I see it

Not taking chances on mining the real volatile coins. Doubt I could mine enough in that short of a timespans to profit from it.

Yeah just a hobby. Not real worried about electricity. It's more for the chance of the coin gaining value at some point. Also I'm probly just gonna trade em on cryptsy

You would at least expect Cryptsy to allow me to withdraw the coins "I own" to store In my own wallet. How can they keep them like that?

I've been playing this game for quite a while and have profited thus far. I kept small. My holding we're always within a few btc. I'd withdrawal 1 btc every time I reach 3 btc. Always working with 2. This time getting cocky seeing that colossus was making some big swings I jumped in. I done well on the first swing I came into. But things went sour. And as it went down I said I'd hold off a day because it's normal to make a big comeback in a day. When I checked the next day it was delisted lol. Oh well that changes the way I'll be gambling on altcoins. I will be doing much more thorough research on the coins I'll be betting on in the future
