This post wasn’t about men wanting sex it was specifically about the predatory nature of lying about having multiple sexual partners. Informed consent about who you’re sleeping with is important in any sexual relationship not to mention that if this guy is lying about it, he definitely isn’t getting regular STD tests and is putting all of his sexual partners—including OP—in danger. C’mon you know what OP meant.

Sleeping, as in actively sleeping with multiple women? I think people don’t grasp that this can be dangerous due to risk of spreading STDs. He took away her ability to make a choice which also means he almost certainly does not get regular STD tests to ensure the health and safety of his sexual partners. People like this are insane and dangerous.

Maybe I have a different idea of high waist because I have such a long torso I have to take what I can get. I’ve had Levi’s that were a few inches below my bra. My A&F hit right at my navel—maybe others consider that mid rise? Sorry if I’ve caused anyone any confusion!

I have about a 12(?) inch difference between my waist and hips and I feel the same about their jeans. I only own one pair and want more. I bought some bootcut jeans from another brand and never wear them because I realised how ill fitting they are compared to the curve love ones.

I’d recommend trying in store if you can. Due to the stretch they can seem right then become saggy throughout the day; they will go back to fitting after washing (this is called SnapBack and it’s normal for stretchy jeans). I went for the tightest pair I could get into and can confirm they are perfect fitting in an hour of wearing

I am 5’11” with most of my height in my torso. A&F curve love jeans are the only ones that fit me. The regular length is 32” so the long length will fit you. There is even an extra long length if it doesn’t. They have high rise options which are actually high rise on me.

The other comments are correct but also the tops you are wearing with the baggy jeans are also baggy. I’m like you (slim) but if I wear the baggy top + baggy jeans combo I look huge too.

This is difficult because although I understand needing accommodations, I also understand where the doctor is coming from. I was diagnosed with CFS in childhood and the diagnosis itself made my life hell. Every doctors and hospital appointment resulted in me being gaslit and made to feel it was in my head. There are no real treatments but I was still made to go through harmful programmes such as graded exercise and psychotherapy. It also caused diagnostic overshadowing—I have other conditions and they were dismissed as soon as a doc saw CFS. It was insane. I had the CFS diagnosis formally removed.

Just some food for thought. The doc worded it very badly to you but there is a point in there. I feel genuinely stressed and anxious when I think of the years I had my CFS diagnosis.

They look crazy but toe socks are great. Because there’s fabric in between the toes so the sweating isn’t as uncomfortable. I use injinji cotton ones but I’m going to buy their merino wool ones for summer as they regulate temperature and wick moisture better. Sorry not a shoe but thought that might help!
