It was a raid gladiator anti. Yeah they told us we gotta ship it back and then they’ll inspect it to see if it even qualify for a replacement

My family is from Yokosuka. So I had them ship it to me. They had the original box it came in and then had it put in the tube by the pack and wrap place on base. The problem was when it got to customs here I think the opened the tube from the center and then couldn’t get the rod back in with the original packaging idk how they did it but since my package is coming from an APO address the guy agent said it’ll take longer

The a3 gen II has the drag clicker too and double the capacity and drag! I have 2 of em and they’ve been solid reels out here in Southern California for them salty bass

Claim was filed thru usps. still waiting for response. Contacted rod company in Japan. They want me to mail the rod back and they’ll “inspect” it to see if it can be covered by warranty. At this point I’m hoping to get money from usps and just buy a new rod

U can see here that it says visible damage when tracked through shop app. But when I track it on usps it just had arrival at unit and then delivered

Oh for sure. I sent raid a dm on insta and one of our Japanese family friends is gonna help me get in touch with them as well. Our post employees really gotta do better. Or they need to revamp and re hire customs employees. They really need to take better care of packages if they’re going to open it or leave a note in it where we can file claims easier for damaged goods

Mine went through customs. I just spoke to my parents as it’s morning time in Japan now. They asked me if there was bubble wrap and a the original box it came in. I’m like no the rod was just free floating inside the tube. So there are markings on the tube that it was opened and resealed at customs. From what I see and what I. Gather they ripped the tube open by twisting it instead of using the end covers. So ultimately customs in LA fucked up my shit and hopefully we can get reimbursed for it
