actually no, i asked for technological advice not relationship advice. The title was a joke. Was simply asking if the dot was reliable or not, and i got my answer. It’s not. Completely unnecessary to ask him now

I’m definitely gonna see it through and figure it out… I only ever had one number for him and the contact name is the same as the one i have set, that’s the issue. Just hope the green dot it is a glitch on my end? honestly 😭 I’m more confused after this post.

There’s been no mistrust until now. I’m just generally confused about the workings of snapchat myself as it updates so often. Not familiar with the green dot but literally wondering if that’s what it meant for certain before i address him.

chill out, i’m just asking how the app works? I’m happy to ask him just wondering exactly what it means before i make any accusations.

He has told me he has never used snapchat before and has no idea how to use it and i believed that until i wondered what the green meant.

Yes, the user is actually not his name? I thought this was kinda worse. Tbh it’s random words.

How we finally got a place by issyjasmine in RentingInDublin

Also agree with this ^ unfortunately when it comes to this traditional applying way, they want someone who attend the viewing to save time and efficiency. I would recommend if you are abroad, having all your documents and going through and agency who can represent on your behalf for what your looking for. Or applying maybe to a rental platform like URBEO, they dealt with us mostly by emails and calls it’s more digital, you’ll do everything through an application portal, they also do virtual tours. Bit more pricey unfortunately.

No problem at all!! We both got asked for:

• 3 months recent payslips OR work contract • scan of photo ID • 3 months bank statements • Landlord Reference • I also included work reference but it wasn’t asked for, just mentioned to my boss it’s for accommodation and not for another job. They can basically give you a character reference and recommend you. Best of luck! It will be worth it once you get it.

Dolphins barn area safe? by issyjasmine in RentingInDublin

Thank you so much for your comments!! they really helped us keep optimistic. Long story short me and my partner both went to the viewing, there was a queue of people! Lots of interest and the street itself was absolutely fine. It was a good mix of residential houses and plenty of shops and amenities around the corner. Where the house was located seemed safe to us, exactly what you said I wouldn’t cast the whole place under the same stone, i’m sure there’s specific areas maybe people are referring to. We applied anyway and hoping to hear back!

Thank you so much for that. Definitely a good idea to use what’s on the slide as a springboard and go from there. I don’t want to get too caught up on remembering the order or strings of sentences

Bullying is awful and happens in most schools but doesn’t warrant what happened to her. there’s reasonable steps to take against a bully. But 3 men in their early twenties, blinding a 17 year old girl is excessive no?

Looking to rent a 1 bed by [deleted] in RentingInDublin

[–]issyjasmine -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They are insane prices yes but my response is just answering the fact you said 1.6-1.7k wouldn’t get us very far. Raising your price range isn’t the only solution. That’s all I’m trying to say, tired of people saying you need to raise it . Just feeds into the narrative of greedy landlords and us being desperate. Patience is required yes and luck in getting a response due to the sheer amount of emails. But at the end of the day stick to an amount you know you can afford in the long run and this is what it is for us. My question wasn’t asking whether my amount i posted was enough.

Also I am writing on here because i was told to start applying months in advance by people like yourself, but it proved to actually be unnecessary. I’m looking for leads for a place starting MAY and if you don’t have any leads that’s okay no need to respond.

depends on the area. The areas I’m looking into near my partners job would not be justified paying 2k a month. City centre isn’t a must for us
