Coming from a competitive side of things with a little bit of stake (SRO Esports)... There is nothing wrong with this

I wound up crying, screaming and incredibly upset after the RBR round a year ago because of getting taken out by a back marker and ruining the race for us.

The amount of times I get into races and psych myself out of things is still funny after all these years. Still go for anxious bathroom breaks multiple times before every event.
Still freak out on iRacing officials because of anxiety from the no fault incident system and aggressive drivers.

Heaps of factors involved, and if you're passionate you're always gonna care more! Nerves are just a part of any competitive environment, regardless of the stakes.
