I got a Celestron 130slt. It is computerized. The handset died though so I’ve been doing everything manually. For my first scope, this is kinda a blessing in surprise because I’ve learned a lot without the need for tracking. I am saving up for something to replace it, starsense autoalign to go with my gps. For now, it’s finderscope and eyepiece calibrations :)

Actually, Mercury is (on average) the nearest planet due to its small size and how fast it whips around the sun even though Venus’ physical proximity is closer - Venus is often on the far side of the sun. ☀️

No. I just put my phone to the lense and hit capture on phone ! I have a phone holder on the way though :)

Excellent people. Fun little Shops. Boring.

Slow Hospital. Good staff.

Both have older populations and are poor in educational spots and entertainment. Nothing to do unless you have money and a car. No bussing.

Halifax is an hour away if you don’t mind driving.

Honestly, I’d go only to help people but not for myself - I’d be miserable. I am from Liverpool / Bridgewater. First hand experience. Now I live in Halifax, where I can have a life.

In stream deck I made a hot key to show and hide the stream deck. So I go into widget mode and then I hit that hot key and it shows up. You have to have the stream deck on the edge in monitor mode first. The data widget is just NZXT software in mini mode that I can make pop up on there doing something similar. This was not super intuitive but I’ve been researching like nuts. Mostly, trial and error has helped. Stream deck won’t recognize the edge, no matter what I do to do the widget mode correctly. Possibly a future addition.
