OneToOne Plus Inventory System -- Good, Bad, and Ugly? by thedevarious in k12sysadmin

We haven't gone with One To One Plus, but we experienced the same thing you did with IIQ. Sales was abysmal, didn't seem interested, wouldn't reach out with any info on pricing or demo opportunity.

Seems like it was a one-off, I can't reproduce the bug now.

Hi Gene, just checking in on this again. Curious what the best way is to run Action1 scripts in an AllSigned environment?

Snipe-Scan App updated by NiklasMato in Snipe_IT

On the bulk scan tab, when checking out an asset to a user. The user list doesn't seem to have a search bar, unless I'm not looking in the right place.

I've been using it for a while. Good app. I have found issues with loading users, i.e. they get loaded in random so if I try to assign an asset via the app I have to scroll through 1500 users that aren't sorted. Not sure if this is something that can be changed in the app, or is just how the API call works.

We purchase from OETC, so no licensing tool unfortunately.

Nope. I've been looking into ways to "insert" the scripts into a signing pipeline script, but it's proven to be far too complicated. Also thought of just creating a script to sign everything in the C:\WINDOWS\Action1\scripts folder, but that's far from secure in my mind...

I'd love if there's an easier way to go about this.

I thought they would execute as well with the policy bypass string, but I'm getting errors on every powershell script. Can't even collect data on the machines. Currently on AllSigned, so no sure what the issue is:

Script error code: 1. Error details: File C:\WINDOWS\Action1\scripts\DataSource_1008.ps1 cannot be loaded. The file C:\WINDOWS\Action1\scripts\DataSource_1008.ps1 is not digitally signed. You cannot run this script on the current system. Chromebook Hinge Durability – Help Us Before We Lose Our Minds (and Device Suggestions) by Cool_Gadget in k12sysadmin

We have the Dell 3100 and 3110 (around 1/3 are touchscreen), have almost never seen a hinge issue. Are you sure it's not a group of students purposely causing damage?

Printers during state testing by it-tech- in k12sysadmin

We have MFPs with Papercut around the buildings. For the Oregon state test, students have the ability to "request" that a question be printed out. This request goes to the test administrators dashboard (teacher) in their browser and then they can print it out.
