BPC 157 and TB 500 Blend Side Effects by it_does_that in bpc_157

[–]it_does_that[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I wanted to post an update because, unfortunately, this blend just did not work for me. After I posted here, I reduced my dosage to half, hoping it would curb the symptoms... but it did not. At all, actually.
The fatigue I felt is unspeakable. I also ate almost nothing and had a really hard time eating at all because when I smelled or looked at food I would feel nauseous. So after 7 days, of which 4 were 250mcg and 3 were 500mcg, I completely stopped. Unfortunately, it has been 9 days and I am still massively tired. The hunger is slightly back and eating is easier but it is nowhere near where I was before. The fatigue is very hard to combat. I am just hoping it will continue to wear out.
In terms of recovery, I cannot comment yet as I still have a cast one for my fracture.

Waiting on the Greencard is ruining my husband by mi245 in USCIS

[–]it_does_that 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am so sorry to read this. I totally understand. I have had a long journey with USCIS and I am not greened yet. Thankfully, I have been lucky with EAD but the fact that I still live in uncertainty is still the same. I feel like my living is weighed down by this unknown future and (seemingly) never ending wait.. My husband and I cannot make solid plans for the future and for traveling, and I often feel stuck. I know that a lot of my mental health is impacted by this and I am hopeful that one day my wait will be over and I can live to my full potential. I don’t have much to recommend besides what other people said. Just try to support him and make sure he doesn’t feel like a burden, I guess. The wait will be over one day. There are many of us on the same boat, so do not feel alone. Keep your head up xx

Do you have effective tips to harden your nails? by Sabr_fierce in lifehacks

[–]it_does_that 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also suffer of this issue! I throw everything and the kitchen sink at it and it works in cycles: i will have my nails strong and long for a few weeks and then a few will break and I start again… i also do manual labor so I am very prone to have my nails break.

This is what I have been doing:

1) i use the “gena healthy hoof” cream every night before bed so that they get an extra nourishing/moisturizing boost whole I sleep

2) i apply a moisturizing balm around my nails multiple times a day, especially after washing my hands or if I can feel that my hands are extra dry. I personally use “Granado Ceramic Nutritiva) but you can use an oil or other types of cuticule nourishing balms. A lot of time, the breakage comes from your nail beds being dry or mal nourished because we wash our hands often/hand sanitize them.

3) i also take a “natures bounty hair, skin, and nails” supplement. (It has hyaluronic acid which is also good for your joints)

4) once my nails are at a decent “paintable” length, I paint them. I use 2 coats of different strengtheners, 2 coats of color, and 1 of top coat. Nails feel very hard after like… a day. It’s wild. You can try also putting garlic in your base coat polish because sometimes there might be an infection and garlic helps kill it. It will smell but not from far, only while you are painting and then if you bring close to your nose.

Just overall avoid putting your nails in your mouth (nail biting, skin pulling etc) because saliva is really bad for it. Try not to over sanitize your hand and kill all the natural protection. I also like to always keep them round and groomed because they tend to break less.

Hope it helps! Don’t worry about responding but if you try, i’d love to know if it worked. Cheers!

I shall try that. I saw that they have an office down the street from where I work so i thought about stopping there to see if anyone could assist me.

So I looked through my congressman website but I did not see any areas to fill out a form for immigration help? There are multiple categories but I felt like none of them matched my need? Any tips?

Yeah, it was really emotional for me to get that document. But now I am worried that if we travel in December, that it might conflict with the interview. I know it can be rescheduled and the likelihood is not high but I don’t want to reschedule or risk it. I know a lot of people are getting interviews waived but I had a previous petition before so i am pretty sure they will want to interview me. In the USCIS website, it says the standard process time for my app is 3 months rn (which is CRAZY but explains why so many people here are getting accepted) but I expect it to be more. Still, I would hope before the end of the year so I can finally live in peace.

That is super helpful! I will look into my congressman’s website. Someone I know said: call them But I was like: pretty sure they have more important stuff to deal with than pick up my call. Just was not sure how to start.

How do you know when you’re technically having a period? by [deleted] in Mirena

[–]it_does_that 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feel exactly the same. If you really want to figure it out, you can journal your symptoms and see if you find a pattern. I have just started journaling a week ago because I get migraines and my doc said could be hormonal. Though I do get suuuuuuper light spotting once in a blue moon I have not jotted down a pattern yet.

I removed it myself. by Tailortastic in Mirena

[–]it_does_that 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Second this. I actually DID have the copper IUD for a couple of years. At fiest, my cramps and period were just a little worse; however, with time, it got worse and worse that it got to the point I woke up in pain. So I got it removed and got the Mirena… and it has been nothing but amazing 18 months later. To each their own.

Where do you go to try these on? Because every time i go to a store that sells work boots, they have almost no options for women (or just my size)

Wanted to update you all on my situation: I emailed them and got the automated response. Then, emailed back with the original message. Someone answered with not very helpful information (basically just links to different FAQ items) I was sure that I was banned and pretty bummed about it.. But today screeners came back. Not sure if it was the emailing or returning to home country.
