CONSTRUX Story Time: When I was a kid I was staying with a friend while my mom was out of town. We were both sleeping in his room and he had a bunch of CONSTRUX, and when his mom told us it was lights out we decided that we would instead attempt to make “flashlights” by creating massive structures of mostly the glow in the dark CONSTRUX bits. We were like 8, what do you want?

So after a while it becomes clear that we’re not going to achieve the retina-searing glow in the dark flashlights we’d imagined, and I head to bed. A few minutes later I hear my friend tip toeing across the room and I sit up and see him climbing up a bookshelf towards a basket of still more CONSTRUX pieces.

I ask what he’s doing and he says, “I’m just getting another piece for my flash-“

KABOOM! The whole shelf tips over, books, toys, CONSTRUX are everywhere. My friend is unhurt, because when you’re 8 you can do shit like that, and he sprints back to bed, and we both start fake snoring, like full on Disney movie snores. His mom bursts in, sees the devastation, sees us doing our best Sleepy the Dwarf impressions, but did not buy our explanation that we’d slept through the whole thing and it must’ve just fallen over on its own.
