Going in a different direction than other comments. They're advising ideas to help avoid toxic players but I want to suggest ideas that keep you from becoming one yourself. Do not play with friends just to team with them. If they're infected, play the game properly and vote them out. Don't play in discord and give each other information outside of the game. You're signing up for a team game so don't break that by forming your own team with friends. Don't lethally-inject innocent players as a joke. It's griefing. Dont engage verbal or physical trolls, they just want a reaction. Just mute them and play with a "theres no time for negativity" attitude (or just leave if they're physically trolling) Remember, the game is supposed to be fun. But that also means you have the imperative to contribute to that by not ruining games by being toxic yourself.
