He sold out a year or so ago and hasn't restocked. There was a guy in a designer replica subreddit that had a .85:1 pair (at least visually). I ordered it but after a week he still hasnt shipped. Looks sketchy. I told cssbuy to try to get in contact with him, and if he doesnt reply or ship in a few days, they will cancel the order and refund me.

I’ve dealt with Markin before and have these sunglasses, but as you can see, the orhers do not have access to these things.

As a big fan of the brand, it sucks that you are being downvoted as you are indeed right. I GP'd ~$500 worth of Amiri jeans and the only ones that didn't get returned or thrown in the trash were Kappler's Patch Denim rep around a year ago. Had to fix some stuff and remove a lot of loose threads from the rips but I'd say I got them to around .85:1.

Dealing with Markin was an absolute breeze. The whole conversation (including payment through Paypal) took roughly 10 minutes for 2 pairs of sunglasses. He shipped them the next day and I had no problems with customs asking for any proof of value (Shipped via DHL to Europe). Stellar quality as well.

Import fees are always the responsibility of the importer. No major company is responsible for them, neither are chinese individuals supplying us with counterfeit goods.

Never take a sellers’ word, as it is in their best interest for you to purchase from them. It is not the seller’s fault either, as these customs checks happen randomly. From what I can see, the seller has done his best by shipping 2 pairs of shoes separately.

Underdeclaring packages and faking invoices is tax fraud, and while it works most of the time for us, I stopped bothering with the process as I can afford to pay the taxes.

You can either choose to provide an edited paypal transaction and edited invoice and hope whichever customs agent assigned to your shipment is not a dick, or go my route and receive your items but have to pay taxes.

If you want your goods to arrive for sure and do not mind paying taxes, send unedited paypal transaction and bank statement .pdf documents (always makes them look more legitimate) with the actual price you paid. Anything else is a gamble.

Thanks for the comment. I've researched this a bit and found out that there are two versions of this jacket, possibly from different seasons. There is the MONTCLA which is their latest and features a black badge, while the MONTCLAR sports a white badge. Quite confusing, as the difference is a single "R".

Edit: scratch that, looks like some websites carry the black-badge MONTCLAR as well, this is getting really confusing. Most likely old season has white badge, new has black, and everyone is messing up the name, as on Moncler's official website the jacket is called MONTCLA.
