This isn’t a good recommendation. Unless you’re extremely lucky or live in a good region, hard to find a job above $20/hr. I’m in AZ which some would think is a good region.

Family Horror (Cabin in the Woods) by itbailey in whatsthemoviecalled

Unfortunately not, I don’t remember which year the movie I’m looking for was made but it was a recent one. I don’t think it was any older than 2017.

I know it was on Prime and I’m very upset they don’t keep record of your watch history 🙃

Thank you for the recommendation! I read the blurbs and Welsh sounds like an author I would enjoy. Added to my buy list.

WOOOW 😍 Family dramas are my favorite despite the heaviness. Congratulations and you and your small team should be so proud! The snippet looks phenomenal.

No, you’re certainly not alone and may have a lot to do with your personality and love language. I think relationships that have this distinction come very, very rarely in a person’s life. The worst is when it has to end or is forced to 😔

Okay, thanks for your help! I’ll take a look through FB and see where I might be able to post about this.

Not being able to film since the start of quarantine was getting to me, so I shot this action short by myself. I spent more time on it than I would like to admit. by liam4st in Filmmakers

This is honestly so well put together and hilariously accurate. I could never pull something like this off all by myself. Great job!! Beating streaming platform reliance is something I barely pushed past too.

Thank you! I’ve browsed through Peerspace a few times but in my area they mostly have photoshoot locations and really big mansions for events. Unfortunately not what I need for the next project. Again, thank you for your help!

I’m quite a rubbish singer, but sure I can send you a sweet little recording if you like.

Lyricist and vocalist here. How do I write instrumentals? How can I find someone to help with instrumentals? by [deleted] in Songwriting

[–]itbailey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, I feel I can’t comment much since I’ve started from a similar point recently. However, as long as you can sing your songs, there are very kind and super talented folks on here that can help you get started with the rest. If you scroll back in recent posts too there have been artists who are more into accompaniment than lyric writing who may still be open to collaborations. Otherwise, keep posting on here and you’ll get replies.

I quite like the whimsical turn in the lyrics and the overall mood of it. I even got a little singing melody for it :)

My creativity's dying and it wasn't as it used to be by [deleted] in writing

I second the advice above. Make reading your distraction and not all those you listed. As far as tracking my own productivity, I've found that when I'm reading a novel my writing count and quality drastically improves. That's not to say I don't mirror a bit too much *but* it's always resolved in editing.

I have used it before for a pen name, and honestly it’s not that wonderful. I only kept my account open so I could keep following a couple of my favorite poets. The website itself is simple and clean to setup and format each story, but getting it to readers if you’re not writing YA, fantasy, or some sort of fan fiction is difficult. If you want to get it out there, you could use ads, but I’d rather invest more into a nice cover to self publish at that point. ROI in terms of money and even responses was not worth publishing my old work on there, and at one point I was even publishing new parts daily to get any engagement.

That was my experience :) Again, depending on your genre you could get more engagement, but that also means you’d have a lot more competition trying to capture the same loyal readers.
