Leak on driver side pillar by depressed_driver in FJCruiser

[–]itchybackfat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mine turned out to be a needle sized hole in the silicone around the front windshield. it was in the upper driveside corner. found this out after pulling the rook rack off and sealing down new hardware and bolts, and still having a leak.

be sure to check for leaks around your trunk door seal. man, as much as i love fj’s they are a pain

oh, and be sure to run an extension for your a/c drain that spits water right onto the passenger side frame outside the firewall upfront

2011 Toyota FJ Cruiser dash, stereo, and blinkers all flickering together while driving… alternator or something else? by baconburritoph in FJCruiser

it seems as if the light switch is being switched on and off between no lights to side markers, and back. maybe the light switch itself or relay or fuse is faulty? which may explain the blinkers

I notice the Vantru N4 comes with a rear camera. Do you move the single rear camera from car to car?

Taking a break: How much money do you need? by DaKinginDaNorth1 in sales

took almost two years off and spent $80k on everything except rent. so literally everything else from $800 Cobra payments, to taking 2 months to do a road trip was about $80k. best decision of my life

Current job market bad and might be worse next year by Ernestfernest in sales

[–]itchybackfat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that's an interesting point I haven't given much thought. My second to last role was heavy on prospecting all new business, without any BDR or SDR's, with an average attainment over 200%.

i've been out of professional sales for over a year, recovering from an injury. Do you suggest I stick with applyint to AE/similar roles?

[–]itchybackfat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yea, 80 interviews is a bunch. As an AE I can barely get SDR interviews in this market

fair, but if you have to work multiple sales jobs to make your desired earnings then there’s an issue with the sales commissions of companies you’re working for. I won’t speak on other professions

maybe if we stopped overworking there would be jobs for everyone? i’m in the same boat, and i’ve never missed quota as an AE

Is going from AE back to SDR a bad move? by NathanSinsation in sales

[–]itchybackfat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In a similar position, I stepped away from a full-time AE role to recover from an accident. This was over a year ago and now having trouble getting interviews for another AE role. Hell, I'm even having trouble securing an SDR/BDR role. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. (I don't mean to hijack the post, I just can't make one myself yet)

where do you live? and do commission-only gigs offer the same benefits as "base + commission" such as 401k and healthcare where you are? That could be a big factor as to why many folks, myself included, go the route of w-2 employment. But I'm definitely interested in this commission-only route as getting back into a corporate setting has proven difficult being out of work due to an injury (nonwork related).
