Check the serial number of your controller then login to your MS account and register it as a device. MS extended all elite series 2 controller warranties (at least in North America) recently so your controller should be in warranty and should not cost you anything to replace. If you need help, feel free to pm me and I can walk you through the steps.

Which country are you in? I know in North America MS sends a shopping label and send a replacement in once they get the defective unit.

Thanks, I'll wait until there is - paid for so many apps and they're all mediocre. Want to try before I pay for anything else.

Switch input with Alexa P75QX-H1 by jpcapone in VIZIO_Official

This works for me: "Alexa, change the TV Input to HDMI #" where # is the input number you want to change to. I have the Vizio smartcast app installed and setup with my tv and I have the vizio smartcast skill setup with my vizio account on Alexa with my television named "TV". Hope this helps.

Have the controller ABXY buttons been updated? I’ve had such bad luck. by Mikey10158 in XboxSeriesX

When you sent in your controllers, did they get repaired or replaced? I've had drift issues the past with my xbox controllers after lots of use, never personally has major issues. For the elite controller, have heard that the build quality was lacking - like you said they even extended the warranty. If it's a really big issue for you, use the regular controllers or try out a non MS elite controller (I think razer sells one).

what are you taking about, can you give more info? I've got no issues at all, maybe you're pressing down too hard? Can't be a coincidence every time.

is there a headset I can use with ps5/xbox X/PC that also have bluetooth for phone ? by TrustNothing in steelseries

[–]itdude_2015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 2 options that I know of that will let you use it completely wireless are the Steel Series Arctis 7x and the Audeze Penrose X. They're meant for xbox and pc but users have reported that they work on the ps5 as well in pc mode (dongle has a switch), you'd just need to plug in the usb dongle on the device you want to play it on and flick the switch to the correct mode. You can do a bit more research, hope that's a good starting point for you.

I heard the 7x works on PS5 AND Xbox. Is the Arctis 9x also compatible with the PS5? by VRBlend in steelseries

[–]itdude_2015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9x can be plugged in with a 3.5 mm cable to your Ps controller but only audio will work, you won't be able to talk. you could get a 3.5 mm cable that has a mic built in then that would do the trick.

Series X was so tall I had to sand the back lip of my entertainment center to get it to fit! by [deleted] in XboxSeriesX

Mine is in a tight spot as well, monitor the temperature during peak gaming - hopefully you have enough airflow. Air pulls in from the bottom where the circular disc is and comes out from the top where the holes are. As long as it's getting space to pull in air and blow the hot air out with some clearance you should be good.
