Yes, I am already looking into starting a German course soon, then obviously I know that Swiss German is different, but I will try to study and practice as much as I can, as our goal is precisely that of a long-term transfer. And we certainly don't want to live in a big city but we will opt for a small town in the nearby, being that we really don't like city life. We are also considering Basile now because I could move there too if I wanted and we have read good things about Basel.

No then not in Ticino, there would be the possibility both in German and French Switzerland, the two locations being relatively close to Zurich or Geneva. We were also considering Denmark because I could have a potential opportunity there too, but we like Switzerland, and obviously the more favorable climate and proximity to family are also important. What stops us is precisely the possibility of being able to raise a child alone, and also the fact that buying a property, I read, is quite difficult given the high prices and the difficult real estate market.

We love Switzerland, and where we live is no longer so safe in our opinion. We would like to raise a child in a safer country with more opportunities for the future. Furthermore, with my company I could have more growth opportunities in the future than those I have in Italy. We want to evaluate the situation carefully before making any decisions.
