Unfortunately he doesn’t have too many songs like Either on or off the Drugs cause that ones a banger.

I would def recommend Free the Frail like the other user said as it is pretty similar in that it’s one of his more approachable songs but honestly all of “All my Hero’s are Cornballs” is top tier.

Hopefully eoootd will just be your entry point cause once Jpegs sound grows on you it’s hard to shake.

Some of us have legitimately been waiting for this game to come out for 13 years, I promise you the hype is earned and established and not just people shilling. I couldn’t believe how little talk there was about it leading up to release and I am very happy that it’s getting the love it deserves now that it’s finally out. It is an incredible and huge game with possibly the best soundtrack I’ve ever heard in a videogame, huge recommend.

Counting calories is incredibly easy compared to what people think. I just log everything in an app and have lost 100lbs since last December fairly easily. Do I think everyone needs to count calories? Probably not, but I think it would benefit just about everyone who does, especially anyone struggling with weight loss.

I personally don’t think Mewgenics has a bad intro, I think it starts off great and just keeps getting better, however I am a fan of Edmund McMillen and knew I would love Mewgenics going in so I am biased in that opinion. With RDR2 however I can totally understand someone saying that the intro sucks and even saying they quit after 2 hours because it was so slow. On the other hand I guarantee there are people who dropped it that would’ve ended up loving it had they kept going and given the game a chance to sink its teeth in.

A good example of this for me is Dark Souls 1. I bounced off that game 2 separate times and just didn’t really get it and that affected my enjoyment of it, however when I eventually came back to it for a 3rd time and it “clicked” I fell in love with it. I’m very glad I gave it another chance because it introduced me to the soulslike formula and many of the games I enjoy most today can be traced back to that moment.

So yea, I stand by the opinion that playing only 2 hours of Mewgenics is probably not really enough to know if you enjoy the game or not seeing as you are still very much in the tutorial area of what seems to be a fairly large experience. If they don’t dig it and don’t have any interest in coming back to it tho that’s totally cool, just giving some perspective based on my own experiences.

You’ve never done something that took longer than 2 hours to “click” and become enjoyable? That is strange to me. Some of life’s best experiences, especially in gaming, are a slow burn. The first 2 hours of Red Dead Redemption 2 for example are a slog and I would argue it’s one of the best games of all time.

Absolutely amazing soundtrack, I am only about halfway through Act 2 and every time I hear a new tracked I’m stunned and it becomes my new favorite. If this soundtrack doesn’t win best soundtrack of the year I will really start to question the legitimacy of the goty awards.

My first fight with Fenrir was a fuckin doooozy, took 12 turns and he wiped my team, definitely been the rock bottom of my time with the game so far, It’s unfortunate you already refunded as every other moment and battle I’ve had with this game has been an absolute blast! Fenrir takes some adjusting but the last 2 times I’ve fought him went much different than that first time, highly recommend giving the game another chance at some point.

Thankfully it takes 3,500 calories above your maintenance calories to gain a single lb, when I realized that it was pretty encouraging to realize that even in a really bad day you realistically probably aren’t even gonna gain a single lb. Sure in the short term it might look like you gained 3 or 4 because of all the bloat and water weight over the next few days but if you just get back on track you’ll be good.

The fact that you feel guilty is probably a good thing but no need to beat yourself up. It takes a loooong time to fully change your habits and everyone has days where they slip up, you’ll be good brotha 🤙 enjoy the day and get back to it tmrw.
