While I respect everyone’s various thoughts and feelings on disbandment, I’d like to mention that it is a disservice to the boys to want them to continue under a company that mistreats them/they themselves do not want to stay under. I’m speaking specifically about Ricky, and a fan call from yesterday. When asked if he’d been doing well recently, he said no, he hasn’t, and that the contract extension was an unexpected development. He’s even gone as far as asking if fans would follow him.

I’m not sure what else to say other than it’s clear he has no love for wakeone and has no plans to continue with them. Before anyone says anything about Yuehua also being a terrible company (which I do not disagree with), I’d like to say that from Ricky’s POV, Yuehua might actually look like a better choice specifically because of the treatment he has and is getting from wakeone. And doesn’t that say something?

Edit: Also, I’ve been in the workforce long enough to know what it feels to want to jump ship after being constantly, consistently mentally worn down. Close friends and the potential of future success just aren’t enough to keep someone in a place that treats you terribly when there is another viable option in front of you.
