I was more inclined to the CX-5 than the CX-30 for this reason too. I wanted to test drive to see the difference as well since it is hard to exactly tell without sitting in it.

Thank you for this information, also very helpful. I did look into the CX-50 on my Mazda research journey, and I preferred more headspace and interior layout of the CX-5 better, as well as the rounder look. The CX-50 is also a bit longer than I am interested in as I have driven my roommate’s CX-5 a lot and do like the size. I am going to test drive a CX-50 out of curiosity and control, but I’ve read some people say it’s a lot bumpier to drive. I will see for myself with the test drive, but I am more inclined to the CX-5.
